Short trip this time. Headed all the way to the other side of the island Friday to spend some time in Kona with friends that are flying in. Of course we have two hurricanes we are watching right now that should hit in the next few days so those plans may change but the hope is both will pass to the north or south as they normally do.

Since my vacation time at work was finally approved I'm doing some travelling the next couple of months.. Arizona by way of Las Vegas end of October and New Jersey for Thanksgiving with Goddess!!!

I'm off to Chicago tomorrow night with very few plans, and would love recommendations of things to do over the weekend. At the moment my plans are mostly hanging out at one of my favorite bars there, but I surely shouldn't do that for 48 hours straight...

Any recommendations welcome - restaurants, museums, bars, nightlife, you name it. Willing to go off the beaten path so long as an Uber can get me there and back (staying in Alsip).
