Do you even understand what tariffs mean and how they work?
I'll try to keep it simple. When US imports something from a foreign country (Mexico, Canada, China, etc.), the US importer pays the tariff and NOT the country from where it is imported. If this tariff is increased, the US importer will pass on the additional cost to the US consumer and that is us - you and me!
If you really think this was some negotiation masterstroke and not market manipulation where a whole bunch of folks made tons of money on Monday, then you have truly been had!

And you must not realize that we have more than one option and don’t have to purchase these goods or purchase significantly less which means less products from the tariffed country are impacted crippling Canadian and Mexican economy while we move on with our daily lives. Which is exactly why these countries and others caved almost immediately

The felon said tariffs were meant to bring companies back to American soil and jobs along with them. Has that made the Chinese manufactures of electroics move to the USA, yet? How are those tariffs working so far? We are still buyin the products at a greater price.
