Trump indicted in documents case

bret baier ACTUALLY speaking truth to trump... will wonders never cease?

baier says trump lost the election to Joe Biden, trump denies it, sparking this response from Baier:
'You lost the 2020 election,' Baier replied. 'There were recounts in all of the swing states,' Baier noted. 'There were investigations, widespread corruption there was not a sense of that. There were lawsuits. More than 50 of them, some in front of judges that you appointed. There were reviews of every single case of voter fraud in six battleground states and they found fewer than 475 cases,' the Fox host continued.

and when it came to the question how would you hire good people after what you've been saying about former staff, trump bluffed as he always does:
'I now know Washington probably better than anybody,' he continued. 'I know the good ones and the bad ones - and we will have really great strong people, I already know who they are, but we will have really great strong people, OK?'
but Baier shoved this right in his face. Beautiful to read, so kudos to the show's producer, this time :)
'This time your Vice President Mike Pence is running against you. Your ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, she's running against you. Your former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he's not supporting you. You mentioned National Security Advisor John Bolton. He's not supporting you either. You mentioned Attorney General Bill Barr. He says you shouldn't be president again. He called you a consummate narcissist and troubled man. You recently called Barr a gutless pig,' Baier said.
'Your second Defense secretary isn't supporting you. He called you irresponsible,' the Fox host continued. 'This week you called your White House Chief of Staff John Kelly weak and ineffective and born with a very small brain. You called your acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney a born loser.'
'You called your first Secretary of State Rex Tillerson dumb as a rock and your first Defense Secretary James Mattis the world's most overrated general. You called your Whtie House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany milquetoast and multiple times you've referred to your Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao as Mitch McConnell's China-loving wife,' Baier added.

one has to ask oneself the question: is fox news trying to give trump an apoplexy?

he just cannot shut his fat gob, can he? i'm sure the jury will find this very clear, compelling testimony: I didn't hand them back over becos I didn't want to becos they were in MYYY boxes with a lot of my other shit and I can do whatever I want with them! so there!

Special Counsel Jack Smith doesn’t have to concern himself with such things, because Trump’s Fox News interview with Bret Baier on Monday was about as good as getting him on the witness stand and hearing him say: Yes, I willfully retained classified national defense information.

On a day when a protective order, unopposed by his lawyers, was issued in the Mar-a-Lago-Espionage Act case, Trump engaged in a course of conduct on national TV that was anything but protective of himself.
when asked why he didn't just hand over the documents re the subpoena:
“Because I had boxes — I want to go through the boxes and get all my personal things out. I don’t want to hand that over to NARA yet. And I was very busy, as you’ve sort of seen,” Trump answered. “Yeah. But according to the indictment, you then tell this aide to move to other locations after telling your lawyers to say you’d fully complied with the subpoena, when you hadn’t,” Baier said after Trump’s too-busy defense.
“But before I send boxes over, I have to take all my things out of them. These boxes were interspersed with all sorts of things,” Trump said.

what the HELL were details of America's nuclear capability doing in boxes full of his own crap? and there are people who want to re-elect this fucker?

Deplorables should look at the success percentage of conviction by the Feds once an indictment is handed down.

When a President is done looking at classified files hs is to return them. Not use them to stash his stuff or flush them down the toilet. trump can not see the difference between the Countries possessions and what is his.

he seems to have run for president on the assumption that being one meant he could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted, like some omnipotent tangerine; he spent every day telling his staff he could do that, and his obsequious enablers parroted it back to him in a reason-proof circle of fuckery

Another angle on this - the President can declassify whatever he wants....true

..but until the docs are marked as declassified, they are treated as classified.

Does anyone believe that Trump’s golf shirts go anywhere other than a gilded garment bag?

Dude, you're getting worse than that stupid glyph fucker zumiglyphiboi.

However, despite difficulties retaining new legal representation, Trump bragged to a group of supporters at a fundraiser at Bedminster that some of the “biggest” firms and lawyers have called him asking to represent him in the upcoming federal trial.

“I tell all these people, they all come in — they want to help,” Trump said speaking about the upcoming 2024 election. “The biggest, some of the biggest people, the biggest law firms, the biggest lawyers, I say listen, “I don’t need any help. I don’t want any help in campaigns.”
of course you did

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are still some fairly big firms that would like to profit off that orange POS’s campaign grift. - And I’m fairly sure that orange POS wouldn’t want to share.

Now when it comes to those pesky criminal and civil matters the orange POS is facing, I’m sure no offer of legal help is refused. - Hell, even Harpy could probably get some work. (Pro bono of course).

🤣

Trump now knows who is lined up to give evidence against him.

Word is, the list of witnesses includes Ivanka.

i have to laugh (despite how serious this truly is!) at his explaining how he could have declassified the iran document while he was president but couldn't now, even as he's showing it to people without clearance and saying it was still 'secret', to which a voice responds 'well, now we have a problem'

his lawyers must be doing super-heavy weightlifting trying to keep the tape out of court, especially since ABC news has also aired excerpts
