Mulvaney's honesty and sincere intent has always struck me unpolitical; it's going to be interesting watching if that continues to be the case because, if it does, I cannot imagine anyone better to play foil to Trump's renowned grandiosity.

The repugnant aspect that must be directly dealt with as far as Mulvaney's (and many other's) gotta have more defense $$ trade-off for more socials programming $$ is that there is great waste and unaccountibility still inherently going on throughout the entire Department of Defense, which means no matter how much more $$ you give DoD, it's also more $$ that'll be wasted and unaccounted for in the current corrupted system.

Mulvaney would be wise to concentrate precisely on getting America's fighting machine as lean and mean as humanly possible - that would not only produce the universe's most efficient defense force, but it'll automatically set the supreme example for America's equally wasteful social programming to then have to follow.
