Nope. We have military parades. They're smaller scale than those in France or the US but we have them.

We grant Freedom of a city to some military units. That entitles the unit to march through the city with standards flying and bayonets fixed. It means that they are welcomed as honoured guests not a nuisance. It also means that the city will not be pleased with any bar or establishment that bans soldiers of that unit.

The city's cathedral will usually have a memorial to those from the military unit who have died serving their country, a book of remembrance that has a page turned every day by a veteran, and former military standards will be on display.

Of course there will be some people who object to any military parade but the majority welcome them.

Most USAinians don't actually vote along any sort of ideological principals.

US forces have prevailed militarily in some conflicts. That's not the same as winning wars. USA beat Saddam Hussein but is Iraq a 'win'? How long have we been in Afghanistan? Or Korea? US engages in numerous conflicts with no ending points, no idea of what a 'win' looks like.

That's the job of political-military leadership -- have a plan for after the shooting stops, if ever. You win; you occupy; you setup a new gov't or bolster the old; you work at governance. The 'win' can take awhile.

Military parades take place in France on the anniversary of D-Day.

They honour all those who fought for the liberation of Europe. US (and Canadian and British) flags fly all over the invasion beaches.

How about take all the money that would be wasted on a parade, and divide it equally among all the enlisted in all of the services, and accompany each check with a hand written (okay hand signed, because we all know he can't string more that 140 characters together) note from Dopey Don. That would at least keep his fingers off the phone for a while.
