Last year I came up with a cracking plan to stop wasps pestering me when I wanted to chill outside.
3 pint glasses half filled with ribena placed strategically around the garden away from where I sat.

Worked well the first day and a half. But by the third day all the wasps in the South of England knew about the sugar party at mine.

Got stung twice trying to remove the glasses and it took nearly a week for them to stop showing up.
In retrospect, not my brightest idea

We get a lot of hornets here that keep the wasps away!

I’ve planted all the plants bees n wasps like in the front garden like lavender. Keeps them away from us in the back garden.
