Unimpressive and quirky

I'm a Jameson gal myself.
Jameson owns Redbreast now. It's worth a try, Millie. I gave my brother-in-law a bottle a number of years ago, and he brought it to his Scotch Club in New York. The next year I couldn't get a bottle of it: the US had bought most of the output. I still have to travel to get it.

Logic is overrated in explaining likes and emotions
Likes and emotions are perfectly logical; we just often have no idea of the assumptions and axioms underlying the conclusion. Remember, the interior angles of a triangle only add up to 180 degrees in Euclidian flat two-space.

I had a friend who drew 270° triangle comprised of 3 right angles (90/90/90) onto the surface of a ball.

Kid was smart.

I don’t like to fish, I don’t like cooking fish, I only moderately like eating fish, but I love gutting fish.

And in Riemannian two-space, there has to be less than 180 degrees. Spheric geometry's triangles are all over 180 degrees; two of the angles have to be at least 90 degrees each.

I enjoy hearing about smart kids.

Chopsticks, eh? Good way to avoid orange fingers!

Me? I'm fond of a tumbler of Redbreast Irish whiskey, but I haven't tried chopsticks for it.
True story, in college I had a phase where I ate everything with the disposable wooden/bamboo chopsticks provided by the dining hall. A friend challenged me to drink my chocolate milk with chopsticks. I did so by breaking them off short and pressing them together to make a straw.

Like Awkwardmd, I like peanut butter and running. I ran a 3:23 marathon when I was 50. I have run a sub-1:30 half marathon once in my 40s.

I own far too many coffee mugs and antique teacups for one person and one lifetime. But you’ll have to tear them away from my cold dead hands before I give any of them up.

Despite all of the salacious, kink-satisfying stuff that is out there on the interwebs, there is still nothing quite like an old Playboy Magazine. I have a nice, well organized pile of them...😉 That's practically so un-kinky it's kinky!

That last doesn't sound right to me - yes the sum of angles will be greater than 180° but that doesn't mean any of the individual angles need to be greater than 90°. For a sufficiently small portion of the sphere, the geometry becomes close to plane geometry, so it should be possible to get an equilateral triangle with angles all (60+ε)° for any 0 < ε ≦ 90.

No. Consider that a triangle has to have straight lines. two straight lines on a sphere have to be perpendicular to the third in order to be straight.

My favorite candy is skittles and when I eat them, I sort out the purple ones and put them off to the side to eat last because they're the best.

I've been playing darts for close to forty years and every time-every time-I step to the line to throw I tap the first dart I pull against the two still in my hand twice before throwing.

I can count on both hands the times since I was old enough to choose my own clothes that I have not worn all black down to socks and boxers.

Sorry, but French is for insults. For real profanity, one needs German!

Anyway, for me, yes to Cheetos (but not hot) over any other cheesies, and yes to chopsticks, but for popcorn. Good for maintaining wa and patience.

I did a lot of running, but what I miss most with being old and fragile is canoeing in the perfectly pure first light of dawn, the sudden wake of an unseen muskellunge in still, shallow water as one approaches, easing to within paddle distance of a loon with her chicks on her back.

One of my best morning memories is canoeing out into the mist as the sky starts to light up, listening to the loons’ haunting cries. Following one as far back as I could and still see until something small made a beeline across the nearly mirror-still water towards the loon. Their chick got lost in the night, and the parents were calling for it in the morning.

That’s so well done that I can smell the moment. Thank you.

I studied Latin up until the equivalent of my country's A levels.

I should have done French instead.
My Christian Brother High School required Latin and French as well as English. In our sophomore year, my class decided we needed more, and everyone signed up for another language outside of school. Most took Spanish, but myself and two classmates did Irish. Others did Norwegian, Greek, Polish, and more.
