Looks like Sayed won by about 2 points. Emerson had him up by 15 points in their poll released last week. Another Michigan poll showed a similar lead. The pollsters, prediction markets and pundits assumed a decisive victory. Might have dampened Stevens voter enthusiasm and cost her the election.

GOP very much needs to flip it. Maine, Ohio, North Carolina and even Texas are GOP seats looking promising for Dems in current polls. And Lindsey Graham’s SC seat is no lock.

The DSA platform is a no go for places like MI. Over 100k Jews vote in MI. About 80% of us are democrats. He will not win 80% and it could cost the seat.

GOP very much needs to flip it. Maine, Ohio, North Carolina and even Texas are GOP seats looking promising for Dems in current polls. And Lindsey Graham’s SC seat is no lock.

I only have the Democrats flipping North Carolina with Cooper and that's it.

*Maine: Collins will find a way to pull it off and get reelected.
*South Carolina: Republican Hold regardless.
*Ohio (Special): Husted wins; I just don't think Ohioans are going to send Brown back to the Senate.
*Texas (my home state): Paxton wins quite easily.

Benson has just endorsed him, so I'm not seeing much evidence of a divide on the Dem side.
And yes, I expect all sorts of mud to be thrown at AES, but the people who respond to that sort of thing were already going to vote red anyway.

People want change. Faster change. Now. One of the big desired changes is less bureaucracy. Sayed is unlikely to cut bureaucracy, but he is a change from bog standard party hacks. Mike Rogers is . . . I researched him months ago and forgot everything about him. He's that type of candidate.
