Valentine's 2007 Contest Story Ideas thread

I have a partly written story that would go in the Humor/Satire section about Cupid. Basically he directs "reality" TV shows for the roman gods to watch on TV. He makes XXX rated, super smut, but gets asked by Vesta to do an old style romance. OF course, things get screwed up, and the pair he picked for the romance show end up getting the fuck like bunnies arrow, and the fuck like bunnies couple gets the romance arrows.

my weakest area, but here goes:

nurse with unresolved " Daddy" fantasies finds love with a patient at the old folks home who is just crazy enoughto confuse her with the daughter he loved until they sent her away to to the convent.....

Is there a Cupid training school? Instead of dunce caps, do slow learners get called "Stupid Cupid"?

How would that turn into a Lit tale?

Girl (18+) eats too many chocolates( on a dare? to despair over love life? contest?)...friend assumed to be just platonic cares for her. Wiping sweat from the brow becomes a caress......

could be same sex or straight.

Hmm, I've wanted to do a secret admirer story for years. Any ideas about what would be a strong motivation that the admirer really couldn't/shouldn't tell the admired who he is?

Maybe a black woman who is a friend and has a secret crush on her female friend. When the girl gets sick from too much chocolate, she lets her try a little chocolate that won't make her sick. An interracial lesbian angle.

Yeah I was also thinking brother except that it's been done a lot, and members of enemy factions like Romeo and Juliet has also been done a lot, as has interracial... (I'm looking to do something fantasy or science fiction, maybe with the secret admirer being a nonhuman...)

Roses:

A tender dad/daughter or mom/son story ( or mom/daughter?)

Its V Day, and the parent is maudlin over how the other now deceased spouse used to always send roses, tons of roses...so kid does this, which leads to tender substitutional sex....

Hmm, that got me thinking, maybe it's the opposite - the secret admirer is a powerful/famous/special man and is afraid that because of this the object of his affections would pretend to love him to get the benefits of his power/fame/specialness. He wants to know whether his beloved is lonely too and could like him for his personality.

It's art school, and one budding artist just can't master a smooth curve on the required heart drawing, so the instructor stannds close behind and takes the student's hand......

Doing a theme with a Roman virgin who is "won" in the Lupercalian lottery by a man with a different social status, but who doesn't want to leave him at the end of the year. It doesn't matter that he is betrothed to another woman and has to marry her in the intervening months. She simply refuses to leave. She is totally in love with the man, despite the anger from her parents over her unwillingness to marry a fellow patrician. He's a plebeian, so he is totally perplexed at her refusal to leave him. She can't help it, however, and they all soon accept grudgingly that she will simply have to be accepted as a reality. Over time, she becomes less scandalous and more welcome to the household, as she bears him several children and helps the wife satisfy husbandly needs. Wife has a low libido, so she eventually feels relief that her husband has this de facto 2nd wife.

I don't know, it sounds sort of slapdash, and not at all thought out...

Kidding! I think this would make a fascinating read, even if nobody got laid!

She bribes the wife by fucking her that time and agreeing to play matchmaker for a new girlfriend. Turns out wifey is just concerned that she will be alone if she leaves hubby. The girl arranges a settled divorce where wife is comfortable but doesn't take hubby to the cleaners, and they all agree not to tell her aging parents that she's gay. Hubby dates the new girl, but wifey agrees to give him some "back payment" sex too for a few months.

Or.....

There is no divorce at all. Hubby discreetly takes the girl in question as a mistress (and she, being bi and not the jealous type, agrees to let hubby have regular marital relations with his wife, on the condition that wifey fucks her afterward). That way, the trio keeps their secret. Sleeping with hubby is a price that the wife is willing to pay in order to avoid disruption to divorce, loneliness, and disruption of her social status. The mistress doesn't see the wife as a threat, after all, and finds her very appealing...

Or....

as you suggested.....girl finds that she prefers women and she gives the wife the motivation she needs at last to bravely leave hubby, thus allowing herself and him their freedom. Hubby dates a new woman that the girl finds for him.
