My editor has gone AWOL on me. He lives somewhere in the UK. He was an older gentleman but I might have overwhelmed him with stories. I posted on the Editors thread looking for another editor. I have another short story ready to be edited.

Anyone interested in being an editor for me? I really am not the best writer but I do have fun. Looking for mostly grammer corrections. I don't expect to get any better.

I would think they would give it special handling as a contest entry. The written ones usually get posted within 24 hours of being submission.

Well, audios are only updated on Tuesdays. It's a major undertaking for Laurel to get the audios up. Time consuming, I believe. It's all good

I'm grappling with a weird combination of excitement and embarrassment right now lol - but I suppose that's to be expected.

Also, I wish I had taken a bit more time to revise and polish it before publication, but if I had I may never have submitted it.

Now that I've taken that first step, I hope to continue and put together more stories and submit them. And this time, knowing how quickly they post, I'll take more time editing! xD (And learn the boards a bit better... I'd like to put up an icon and a signature and earn my way out of the virgin tag)

I'd love to stay in bed and write all day, but class is calling! Thanks again to everyone for the help and wam welcome, and best of luck with your writings and works as well!

Sorry, but I'm typing as fast as I can trying to finish the last 14 stories that I started.

I wanted Laurel to only post 2 stories at a time, but with me being a mere scribe and her being the Queen, well, what I want means nothing.

It's just an honor to write stories for her.

Shall we expect a story from you, another masterpiece, Sir Scouries?

Or was your visit just to highlight my accomplishments, albeit bashed accomplishments, as I'm never given the fair chance at winning a contest here that others are given.

Nonetheless, as I've written many times before, it's just about the story with me. Writing the story is the fun part, creating and developing the characters and writing the dialogue is what I live to do.

Took advantage of being out of contention to submit a story that I knew would cause me some grief with the readers - a little kidnapping, non-consent, beating, and some Stockholm syndrome thrown in. Decent number of reads, and oddly getting more people favoriting me than dropping me (a fair share of those as well.) Bad people doing bad things and getting rewarded for it. That's gotta piss some trolls off!

At least that's out of my system. Time to write what I should be writing...
