Veroe's OOC thread.

*wipes sweat from brow*

Okay. Just didn't want to make it so you couldn't think of anything. I would gladly edit if you needed me to.

I just wanted to help advance the story in some small Ondine-ish way.

*shrugs and blushes*

You succeeded in getting us back to the point. Which was needed there.

I just wasn't expecting it that's all because I was planning on doing something else with Lucian and Jericho before we get back on track. I'll figure out how to do it while still accepting what you write...

...so what I'm trying to say...I'm the one at fault here not you Luna...just give me a bit of time...I'll come up with something by tomorrow at the latest...I swear.

On a sidenote: When do you think Ondine will detect that smell of Shadow's.

I don't know. I am glad you picked up on that though. Ondine is so scattered that I can't make sense of what she will say or how she will say it (sad but true) I am thinking it will probably hit her a little later. After the family has had a chance to regroup...and she has had a chance to get over her mad....

And sorry I rushed you, Veroe but you are an awesome writer. I have NO doubt that you will come up with something utterly brilliant.

Nah, I got it now.

Though when do you guys think I should bring in Holt?

Soon, I think a scene between Vincent and Holt would be fun if they just happened to run into each other. He could plant some distrust into Holts mind.

Has potential Rider, plus we need to have those two face to face atleast once. So we'll definitely try for that.

Also does anyone have ideas for the next stages in our little plot?

We're nearly at the end of what we have already figured out, two or three more scenes to go and I think we'd have reached the end of the path we've blazed so far.

So does anyone see any potential plot developments we can explore? Are there any scenes one of you would like to have that we can work in the plot towards? (Like that faceoff between Holt and Vincent Rider mentioned for instance)

Its time we put on our brainstorming hats back on again guys.

oh no, brainstorming, and I just got my mind working properly again. But if I must, I shall.

finds appropriate cap and pulls it down over my ears

Well we know that Ondine and Darya will have to have their moment to deal with matters over Jericho and Darya's "Jeckyll and Hyde" personality changes between talking with Ondine and Vincent or Jericho. Maybe Darya can help Ondine figure out who or what the scent is from or Ondine goes nuts making them all 4 play nice to figure it out while Karena is healing.

Throw in a real twist and have Holt technically a descendant of Jericho or Vincent's family lines or something just not sure how that would come to light without Lucien's devious mind.

Looks guilty

I wish I could help with the brainstorming. *head shake*

I just....I have no idea what should happen next.

Basically, I plan by what y'all present. And with Ondine, planning isn't her forte, anyway.

I do wonder how we are going to make use of the scent...and how we are going to reintroduce Holt to the story...and it's for sure that the three (Jericho, Vincent and Ondine) need to have something clue wise that will narrow the field down to make the discovery more probable.

For sure, Vincent should be the one to face off with Holt. After all, with Karena down for the count, he is the next eldest.

But that is as far as I get in my thinking...because there are so many ways this next little bit could play out.

Asa are you planning on writing a post for Karena, or are you waiting for the next round to have her wake up with Darya there?

As for the planning...everybody has made good points. We'll play out what we have planned out already, but everybody keep their eyes open to the possibilities.

As for Holt and the clue to narrow it down...don't worry I think we can kill two birds with one stone with him. Afterall Vincent said he'd like to ask where he got the poison from? The answer can be the clue the three of them need.

Yeah Karena will wake up in another post. Pm how much you want Darya to know about any of this.

I think we need a Darya and Ondine scene, maybe just talk, maybe something more ;)

Was thinking about that Rider... maybe after Lucien leaves Darya in the room with Karena after she is knocked back out Darya can send for Ondine and them talk

I had an idea about the scene between Vincent and Holt. Holt will be taking out Lucien's vampires but Vincent manages to catch him. Then maybe the scene Rider was hoping for, but near the end where Vincent is just starting to get some useful information from him Lucien intrudes and turns Holt.

What do you guys think of that?

Lucien turns Holt... Karena can torture and torment a "little brother"... and Vincent's enemy turns into his "uncle" Entertaining twist if Holt lasts that long.... Karena might just have to kill him anyways "family" or not

yeah especially since he won't just give up on getting revenge on the four of them just because he is a vampire and evil now too.

*raises hand*

Holt wouldn't necessarily NEED to be evil, you know...and in some respects it would play better if he wasn't.

Let's think about this~what he does is for one reason and one reason only~sheer hatred for the dark things that took his family AWAY.

Being a vampire could make him suicidal/homicidal...but not really evil. Hell the inner conflict of that alone would only strengthen his resolve for revenge, his need for atonement. If he is forced to feed from a human? Same thing. It would strengthen him, not weaken him.

He would still be a bad ass force for good, with his own eventual death at the end a happy thought, for him.

I like that Veroe, plus I like the idea of Holt not really being affected from a moral standpoint, since he's already pretty much dead inside except for his anger at the four. I'd imagine he'd be really angry at Lucien though, seeing as he hates vampires and Lucien would have turned him into one.

Yeah you guys are right, Holt is fairly amoral at this point already because he's fixed on getting revenge, but that's only evil in spite of his human morality-its a far different thing than no longer having any human morality any more-which would be the case if he changes. His capacity for evil now will make him even more dangerous to the foursome.

Not to mention while he would have a good deal of anger towards Lucien, but that will pale in comparison to the hatred he will still have for the four. He will continue to target the four of you with Lucien only a peripheral target.

You are right that he'll despise what he's become too, but he already despises what he's become now.

He still had embers of the man he was before, this will stamp out those embers entirely.

And that won't be the point.

I plan on having Lucien tell Vincent just before biting Holt, "You silly child, when you have an enemy you have to make him suffer before you rid yourself of him." But he won't be talking about Holt at all.

Anyway are we in agreement about doing this?
