What's up is that it is totally normal for the WA/OR/PNW threads to lie dormant for many days and to then experience brief surges of activity.... even if they are primarily one liners and primarily males looking for something.... there are a lot of great PNW people here on the board but the threads have always (for the most part) been very slow moving....

Yep, and it seems many have been scarce due to the holidays. :) I hope everyone enjoyed themselves!

The Tread is like the weather here in Washington....Sometimes its sunny most the time its raining.

Rain with a slight chance of rain. ;)

Never seems to end....but right now this morning had rain with Ice on the cars..**** scrapping thick frozen ice off the windows.

Seattle Fun

Looking for a woman intrested in a daytime liason. Lunch, massage, talking and all the fixins.

Oh misery! Way past my bedtime!

Have a good audiobook going at least. The dog and wife are sleeping soundly next to me.

Thank God for laptops... :)

Weather

Just lovin' this f--k--g weather. It can stop anytime. People in Wash don't know how to drive on a dry sunny day. Throw this rain in and it's like an anthill that's been kicked.
Better go now. It's 3:30 PM Monday and I'd like to get home for dinner by---
TUESDAY.

Was it an unknown fact that it rains in Washington when you decided to make it your home?

Lol...

It does make you wonder why people bitch about the rain and still live in the PNW....

Heck, everytime I start to think about the rain bothering me I remember the bitter cold East coast winters with the 3 ft deep snow and the rain starts looking good...

It really is all about a little visualization....

Just a few observation

Ever notice that:
You can't buy a snowblower in western Washington?
(hard to even find a snow shovel to buy)
Tire chains are something that you buy in the fall and return unused in the spring?
Snow is always referred to with an elevation? Usually 3000 ft above where you live?
That when you go outside your nostrils don't freeze together in the first breath?
You never have to thaw out the door locks to get into your car?
You never have to plug in your car?
If your car doesn't start in the morning, it's not due to being -40 F.
The world around us is Green and not some shade of brown or white.

It's no wonder that the PNW uses more sun glasses per capita than anywhere else in the country.

Just a few random thoughts........while standing in the rain.

I have lived in WA/OR all my life and still love it. Weather be damned.

Hey, it didn't rain yesterday. I think I might have seen the sun. It's that bright yellow thing right?
