Hi all! I hope everyone's well and having a blast as we head into spring.

Does anyone have Spokane restaurant recommendations? Hubby and I are heading over there either the weekend of the 18th or 25th to celebrate our anniversary and do some wine tasting, and would love to hear your favorite lunch and dinner spots. Our only real requirements are great food, not outrageously expensive (probably under $25/entree for dinner), and good ambiance for dinner (lunch can be anything).

Secondly, I'd like to remind everyone we've chosen a date for the April Litogether in Seattle. For more details, please see this post/thread, but the short version is you need to e-mail me at SeattleLit@gmail.com with your lit and first names ASAP if you'd like the date and an invitation (if you can come). We're getting to the point where it's impossible to plan without a good estimate of attendance, so emailing now is super important (thanks so much to those who have already done so and the very gracious volunteers ). It's shaping up to be a wonderful event, so I hope to hear from you soon!

Life here is looking up, finally, after a year of continuous knocks. They say whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and I'm not sure I agree with this. I can say I have a much broader perspective on human behavior and the potential for malevolence in us all. I am challenged to keep my heart pure at the same time I have to guard it; an interesting paradox.

Life is an amazing journey, isn't it?
