Life here is looking up, finally, after a year of continuous knocks. They say whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and I'm not sure I agree with this. I can say I have a much broader perspective on human behavior and the potential for malevolence in us all. I am challenged to keep my heart pure at the same time I have to guard it; an interesting paradox.

I know what you're talking about. Why is it whenever you hit rock bottom you're never pulled out of the hole, but forced to dig up! Never really agreed with the what doesnt kill you statement, if its strong enough to potentially kill me and doesnt, pretty sure it's going to leave some damage behind, which sucks!

I guess I've found that not caring about what 95% of the world is doing or saying about me helps alot, along with a finely tuned sense of sarcasm.

Always, you have to do what's best for you. Never regret the things you've done, just learn from them. Life has taken me many places, and I look back with fond memories, although there have been plenty of storms along the way!

Happy to hear things are looking up! If anything, with a little work, they can only get better from here. Sometimes its good to start over!

true enough about not giving a fig about other's opinions...lol someday when i grow up i will not care any more. i don't regret leaving a stifling marriage, but i do regret the impact my leaving has made on my daughters' lives.

i am learning once more how writing saves my dark soul...and brings light to the dark.

you know i love that john lennon lyric, life is what happens to you when you are busy living (or whatever it is, you get my meaning) and i lose sight of this at times.

I do know, have experienced in a big way, the power of forgiveness and self-redemption. I have a love that can move mountains, I have witnessed it...now i just need to trust it. Patience, wisdom, persistence, strength...may i find a way to store all of these in a back pocket for immediate reference.

I have learned some difficult heart lessons this past two months but I can say with big relief that they are being applied guardedly yet with some anticipation.

the world is my oyster and i am learning to dive deep to find the best ones.
