Wake up Wisconsin!!

A vile thread you say? Hmmm. I shall have to go see if it needs resuscitation.

ETA: Oh that sort of stupid. Well. I'll see what I can do about that.

Oh, Que.

couldn't been worse, he could of blew a seal.

of course the seal would probably like that.

lol lucky seal...yes the fix was not too painful for anyone but me, I should have worn a winter jacket, a tshirt with a sweatshirt over jeans was not enough!! Fall in Wisconsin, gotta love it.

I really missed out on whatever this whole spamming thing was you all are talking about! Well, I guess I didn't really miss out on it, more like I'm glad I didn't see it.

Once again, back here in Kenosha after being in LA all week. It's so hot out there. Not sure why anyone would live there when they could live here. In-N-Out burgers are good, but they aren't good enough to move to LA.

welcome back Hockey!

Where near Madison can I go take pix of the fall colors? Anyone? Any advice?

How far you want to drive?

There's some good spots just to the west of Madison. You can drive to Delafield (45 minutes) and visit Lapham Peak, walk up the tower and get an amazing view, lots of hiking trails.... need a state park sticker (or a $7 day pass)

If you want to go really close to Madison, go walking through the Arboretum.

And there's the Table Bluff segment of the Ice Age Trail which is pretty awesome.

Thanks Jezz! Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful weekend! Certainly feels like fall. Can I just not go back to LA until the spring?

Miltown, thanks for the links! I need to try to check out some of that next weekend, hopefully the colors aren't completely gone. Need to find someone to go for a drive with me.

Me too, probably Friday...Ashland here I come! Woooohoooo six hour road trip with my mother and a u-haul trailer to take all the goodies I have procured for her home...

Did you make it to Ashland? I love that area, especially Bayfield. I don't know if the leaves are still on the trees there...

I did the arboretum THAT was really beautiful. Someone was going to go with me when they had the butterflies, but that fell through. :( I will look into the rest of them when I get back to Madison. Thank you!

Some were, not so much now, I am still in Ashland. Heading home Sunday.

Wandered near Holy Hill tonight. The leaves there were just past peak, but my gosh were the Maples in full on golden.... even the little baby maples were like a golden carpet beneath the trees.

It was drizzling so I couldn't take my good camera, which is a shame. Might have to get out and wander once more on Sunday before the leaves are all gone.

I am still up north and on day three of rain. I should have gotten out the first day I arrived. It was pretty nice that day of course. I hope hope hope for a little nice tomorrow before the six hour drive south.

Sunny where I am. The last of the leaves are filling the rain gutters. There's wood waiting to be split.

The sun finally came out here. In half an hour or so I am going outside. I want to find something to take pictures of... the lake is always a good bet.

My sun went away. Well, not actually my sun... you can have it for awhile.

*yawns and stretches*

Good morning my Wisconsin peoples.

I am heading back down south today, a six hour ride... Nice to be riding instead of driving today. This way I can enjoy the view and amuse myself with lit

Nice day for a drive... or anything. Except maybe the beach. 50s, sunny, just finished hiking.

Good morning wisconsin. Hope this finds you warm in your houses. Enjoy the crisp weather today. At least it's dry. :)
