Stallion Hopper

"One more step and your brain will be nothing but paster to the shrubs." Stallion warned poking the head of the crouching figure with his rifle.
He had waited many days for a decent meat since being in the forest he now called home. And at last he had stumbled upon a young deer. Just when the meat roasting on the fire was ready, his motion sensors were triggered and his two submachine gun had opened fire. Rushing out of his tent he was both relieved disappointed to hear voices, relieved that the voices meant they were human and a possible companion, disapointed that he has just wasted the last rounds of the submachine guns.
"Now slowly stand up and turn to me." he ordered the man, keeping his voice leveled. As an experienced soldier he knew that there were more of the intruders around, only a fool would anticipate that the guns took them all out.
He stepped back a little to avoid any surprise move, his gaze was on every muscle on the man's body.
"And before you try to be foolish, i was a marine lieutenant."

Emma was pissed. "What the hell is Cody thinking?!" She thought. " Hiromi and Matt could be dead by now!, he can't fight! She tried to get up but quickly fell down In defeat. Angry tears rushed down her face, " it's all my fault I shouldn't have brought him out there" she looked down then up angrily, " Damnit!" She yelled before passing out unconsciously as the William touched her wound.

"Woah, woah, hey...no need to get so uppity, alright? Just calm down, look I'm putting my weapons down." He placed the pistol and hatchet down slowly in front of him and slowly rose to his feet. "I figure maybe you heard some noise, thought it was a groaned or something and shotat it, I was just coming to let you know it was a person."

Cody heard an unfamiliar voice somewhere in the woods behind him, followed by Matt's uneasy reply. "Shit! That dude found us!" Cody thought nervously. He slowly stood up and began to make his way towards where he heard Matt and the mystery man. Cody kept sneaking until he saw Matt crouched on the ground, his hands raised in surrender, as another man held a rifle to his head. "Aww, fuck me man." Cody thought raising his revolver and stepping out from behind a tree. "Hey man! Just put away your gun. No one has to get hurt today. Just put your rifle on the ground and we can talk like normal sane people." Cody said, hoping his voice didn't sound as terrified as he felt.

Hirmoi had quickly scouted the area and determined that the unknown person was alone. She was about to enter his camp and disarm him when he found Matt. That complicated things, now he was on high alert, and sneaking up on him would be next to impossible.

She pulled out one of her throwing knives and moved throught eh woods so she was directly behind him. Then she heard Codys voice. Looking around she saw Cody with a small gun threatening the newcomer.

Taking a deep breath and cursing at the stupidity of these untrained incompetent people, she steps out into the small clearing. Her throwing knife poised to strike him in the neck.

"You may be a trained Marine..." she said "...but there is no way you survive this encounter, unless you lremove your weapon from my friends skull. There are two of us here now, and more on the way. We would prefer not to kill one with obvious survival skills who would be an assett to our group."

"You want to let me know something and you're sneaking up on me." Hopper snapped back. "You think telling me i wasted a bunch of rounds on a human was gonna make me feel better? Why don't i just leave a bullet in your skull?" he asked trying to instill more fear in the man. The man visibly shook but remained silent.
Williams heard someone sneaking towards him, he could just turn and fire in the direction but he didn't know what the person had in his/her arsenal. So a counter was unpredictable.
The person aimed at him, and spoke in a civilised manner to him. Which was strange seeing that they were not in a civilised era. Williams slightly lowered his gun, then turned to the new man.
"Just tell the lady to quit the stealth thing, wouldn't hate to surprise her." he said then chuckled.

It was incredibly difficult to play physician to the unconscious beauty in front of him, more difficult even than collecting samples of V12 specimens. He could just mix a chemical into her wound and have his way between her hot thighs...oh how he'll...
Williams shook his head to clear his head. He gazed up at the tiny markings on the bullet he had removed from her and nodded knowingly. Though he had just met the group he couldn't help but wish for their safety. He cleaned the wound then neatly dressed it. He made for the fridge to get a drink, something to calm his raging hormones.

"Who are you? Why are you trying to kill us?" Cody asked hesitantly lowering his gun. He was glad that Hiromi had arrived to back him up. If this had turned into an actual fight, Cody would be Swiss cheese right now. "How about you let Matt up, and you put your gun on the ground. We can just talk and then be on our ways. No need to shoot anyone." Cody said placing his gun on the ground as a sign of trust. He knew if this guy tried anything Hiromi would end him before Cody was hit. Or at least Cody hoped she could.

Emma awoke patched up . Seeing nobody but William she got up weakly, " thanks" she gave a weak smile to him, I'm sorry but I need to go find them, I know it's not the best idea but you can either come with but I can't stay here and wait. She grabbed her knife and bow with quiver and ran out the door. She ran through the field clutching her knife and side, when she heard voices she keeps near and saw Cody, Matt. "Thank you Matt" she thought relief flooding through her. She aimed her throwing knife and threw it directly into the stranger with the rifle, leg. The stranger collapsed on his legs dropping his gun. Emma walked past Cody and Matt and picked up his rifle, then knocked him out with the butt of the rifle. She turned and looked at Cody. "What the hell were you thinking!? Why did you stay?! You could have been killed!" She yelled, angry tears streaming down her face. " Don't you know how easy it could have been for him to shoot the both of you?! She turned around and looked at the unconscious man. Seeing Hiromi for the first time, also in relief at the sight she was alive as well.

"Hey! Why'd you do that! He was surrendering!" Cody said angrily to Emma. "Well at least I think he was." Cody added with less certainty in his voice. He walked over to Emma and gave her a hug, but stopped when she gasped. He looked down at her bandaged side and stepped back. "Sorry, I forgot you were wounded. But I'm alright. I didn't get hit." He said spreading his arms wide to show he was free of injury. "And thanks for worrying about me." Cody said with a smile.

Cody walked back to the unconscious man and kneeled beside him. "We can't just leave this dude out here as zombie chow. We have to take him back with us." Cody said looking at the others. "Someone help me carry him." Cody said moving his arms underneath the stranger's legs in preparation to lift him up.

All Emma could do was sigh but laugh at Codys happy mood, "I'll help" she said but as she did picked up his legs, blood spilled from her side and she fell back, " sorry I guess I used a lot of it while trying to find you guys. Getting up weakly, she sighed "I'm sorry I can't."

Cody quickly rushed to Emma's side and helped her to her feet. "It's fine, you shouldn't be out here anyways. You're wounded." Cody looked at Matt and Hiromi. "You guys carry Rambo back, I'm going to help Emma." Cody said wrapping his arm around Emma's shoulder and helping her through the woods.

"Thanks Cody" she smiled and leaned on him for support.

Hiromi was confused by this groups tactics. Some surrendered when they had the advantage, others when the enemy was about to surrender. She would nbever understand how these people, this country defeted hers.

Walking over to the unconcious man, she slung him over her shoulders. "Get his supplies and gear, I will take him back to be bandaged and secured until we determine if he is hostile or not." She told Matt. "Make sure you put out his fire, and bring the deer meat he was cooking."

Hiromi headed back to the restaurant and put him in a booth. Seeing the stranger still there, she simply said "His leg is wounded." and left to see if Cody and Emma or Matt needed help.

Muttering to himself about how it'd be easier if they just put a bullet in him and left him for rotter food, Matt gathered his own weapons then headed into the man's camp to stomp out his fire and gather his supplies, taking the time to actually go through it and see what he had with him.

"No problem, Em." Cody said supporting the woman as they walked back to the diner. He helped Emma sit down on the counter before sitting down next to her. "So what's your name, new guy? I'm Cody, and the dog asleep in the corner is Barry." Cody said to the nerdy looking man who was patching up the other mystery man's leg. "Did you see where Hitomi went? The chick with the knives? I need to thank her for saving my ass." Cody said leaning against the wall to his back.

Back at the diner, Emma argued against the unconscious man staying, "The more we add the more food, and if I remember clearly he shot me. Shit why not give him a weapon?" Emma added with sarcasm, "it's dark now, we should just get some sleep I'll watch him... And anything else out there"

"He probably just made a mistake. We can't just kill people we don't like, we've got to give this dude the benefit of the doubt." Cody said removing his sweatshirt and rolling it into a ball. He offered it to Emma as he slid off of the counter. "You can get some sleep, I'm not turning in without some dinner." Cody said. "And you can use my jacket as a pillow, it's pretty comfortable." Cody said poking his head out the door to see if Matt was coming to finish cooking dinner.

Once back at the diner Matt dumped all of the newcomer's gear in a corner then made his way back into the kitchen, "I don't care if it's the goddamn end of days that happens next, I'm making this dumbass food. Seriously though? I say that come tomorrow we just leave that guy and his shit here and book it away from him."

"If he's a psycho, we'll deal with that, but we can't kill him without hearing his side of the story. If he's cool he can come with us, I guess that is if we decide to stick together." Cody said sitting on the floor near Matt's cook fire. "Regardless of what we do, we can't take that dudes stuff until we know he was trying to kill us. I guess you guys can tie him up if that will make you feel better." Cody said, clearly uncomfortable about being aggressive towards the unknown man.

HIromi saw everyone else back at the restaurant and made one final sweep of the woods, and immediate area. She didn't see anyone, but the sound she heard earlier was back, this time a bit louder. It sounded like an engine, several actually. She listened as the sound grew a little louder and then started to fade again. She judged that what ever it was was at least a half mile away and heading away from them.

Returning to the restaurant, she found everyine was a bit shell shocked and kinda out of it. Mat was still cooking, and the first stranger was finishing up on the Marines leg. Hiromi went over to him and saw he was still unconcious, and not secured.

She cut some of the restaurants curtains into strips and used them to tie his hands behind his back, and to tie his legs to the table leg. Once he was secure she then checked him for weapons, putting everything she found out of reach. Sitting nearby, she waited until he regained conciousness.

She smiled at Hiromi, "Thank you" and then Cody "Thanks I'll have food then sleep for a couple hours then wake me up please and I'll take watch" she clutched her hunting knife, eyeing the stranger.

" Matt, dinner? I think I'll wake the stranger so I can get some answers", She turned to William, you got any chemicals that can burn just a little bit? I have a few warm beers want some?" She laughed.

Cody gave a weary sigh to Emma. "Please tell me you don't want to torture this dude." He said standing up and approaching Emma. "I don't think he was trying to kill us. He probably just thought we were dead dudes. Just give him the benifit of the doubt until he wakes up. Alright?" Cody said, wishing desperately everyone would wait for the man to explain himself before going medieval on him.

"Okay, okay" Emma sighed, " Just eager two know why he shot me. "I'm gonna go look at the gun store, see if there's any ammo or guns. Emma got up, " Anyone else feel like risking there life today?" She smirked
