Wckd and Eager's Truth or Share

I need to post in this thread more often, there are some of my favourite lit people here regularly :).

lance, I reckon that number two is false, I just don't see how anyone could get a cruiser land locked.

As for my next two:

1. I went hyperactive from eating a tube of smarties when I was younger and have never eaten them since.

2. I once walked into a lamp post, because I got distracted by a very attractive woman on the other side of the street.

LOL, I wasn't posting a question, I was answering Eager. I do have a friend with a 75'er that's land-locked. We have big water to play in here.

I'll say 1 is false and 2 is true. I'm guilty of that one myself, LMAO :D

Welcome Susurration - we'd all enjoy seeing you more often. Eager did a PHENOMENAL job with this thead, and it has turned out to be an educational experience too!! Thank gawd, we're not really being graded... i'm currently trackin' a D+ - geez... so here's my crack at today's TRUTH'S - highlighted in purple......and #2 is BS - the purse was only $5k. I did wreck my CBR going about 89 miles an hour only because I had to dump in a corn field...because another vehicle ran a stop sign and i didn't wanna wind up street pizza. Blessing - corn stalks are really better than concrete but at that speed can do almost as much damage without leaving scars. Curse - i've been afraid to get on a crotch rocket since :(

2. Is BS

1. I've been to the red light district twice
2. There was an anaconda in my back yard

Hmmm, I'd hate to think you had a terrible accident, but I'll go with 1.

May I have the pleasure of escorting you lovely ladies around the sites?
If Prop69 is in need of company, and we're ALL going... absolutely Lance, we'd love for your to join. What fun would that be??? Ireland/Scotland would never be the same. So much for the havoc the IRA has caused. ;)

Wckdn - If I took a beautiful woman to a party I would make sure I had her when I went home, twin or not. I might to put a mark on her like a 4 leaf clover to make sure I had the correct one.

We were screwing around and I stupidly "punched" a brick wall. I was wearing boxing gloves and thought I was safe. I still carry the mark of youthful foolishness. I am surprised, but I just learned something new...

I believe #2 is correct. I could see you as a crazy driver, yelling at card to get out of your way, but I think you won this when you were on your grandfather's ranch.

I have always wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland... my homeland(s). Maybe there should be a LIT cruise. Anyone have a 125-foot party boat that we could borrow? Do not, but if we're all going...we're gonna need one...

I'll go # 2 is BS.

Senior Class Valedictorian went on to the Air Force Academy and is currently in NASA, hoping someday to fly into outer space.

Senior Class Vice President was convicted of child molestation.

After much contemplation.... i decided I have no other choice but to role the dice... #1 is BS #2 is the real deal unfortunately.

How this is helping me get to know you better though... i have yet to figure out.. LOL

Hope you are having a GREAT day! Your mood is very different today..... things that make Wckd go, hhmmmmm??!

I
1. I went hyperactive from eating a tube of smarties when I was younger and have never eaten them since.

LOL! I'm sorry but I just got a vision of that Saturday Night Live sketch with Mike Meyers as the hyper little kid wearing a harness and a helmet and secured to the monkey bars. When Nicole Kidman gives him candy and he tears the monkey bars from the ground as he starts running down the street, dragging them behind him still attached to his harness :D

1. I was bummed when I could not go to the Iron Market in Haiti and get a gorgeous machete to mount on the wall like my friend had gotten when he went.

2. I used to weigh 300 pounds and took it all off on my own without gastric bypass surgery.

I could never imagine you being 300 lbs. so I'll say that is false. A machete would look cool with the right setting. I'm looking for a good Claymore, myself.

You're right.
#1 is true. I went to Haiti on a mission/humanitarian type trip in the 90's. The day before we flew home we were supposed to go to the iron market. Alas it was too dangerous and our Haitian friend that was with us the whole time said it was too dangerous and unwise to go... especially for us girls who were there. I'm not a big materialistic shopper but I was bummed because a friend of mine had this incredible machete on his wall he got there that I admired every time I saw it. We did go to the mission. It was beautiful. But they weren't selling machetes. There were a few, very few people on the road there selling some wares... there was no crowd, I can't imagine they were selling much of anything. I did end up buying things I didn't need or really want just because the people are so poor and they tugged at my heart(and purse)strings. For what to me was very little cash, I ended up with some neat things, hand made, that you could never buy in a store... a painting, a large carved walking stick, huge bean pods that I still don't know how they got them to look the way they did, and some other cool things I gave away lol. :)

That sounds like an amazing and awesome trip, SG. The fact it was humanitarian in purpose makes it more so. I love buying things when I travel. I love the uniqueness, not the value, of what I buy. Maybe fate will allow you to fulfill your wish and you'll have one adorning your wall soon.

oh you mean Cheetah Woods? Actually I've had cats since I was a little kid. I do have over 200 scars from them... but they aren't all from the same cat. there is this one above my left breast.

1. I wish my boobs were bigger.
2. My dog is perfect

LANCE- 1 is BS

#1 is BS

1. My high school gym teacher hit on me in front of the entire class.

2. I wish I had blue eyes.
Actually 1 is the truth. 2 is bullshit. The bitch chewed up the corner of my brand new bedframe the first month I had it. I can't use pillow cases because of her! Going to go with 1 is bullshit for you

1. I sleep with the tv on every night

2. I like a Taylor Swift song.

i can't stop laughing...OMG ... i so remember that..... lol

DOS - I'm gonna go with #1 being BS. You like the dark, so why leave the TV on? I'm curious to know which TS song it is that you like. I can't imagine you liking anything of hers except the fact that she dated Taylor Lautner. :D

Actually my HS gym teacher did hit on me... I wrote about it a few posts or pages back and it was ewwww.

Okay I'm going to say #1 is bs and #2 is true... Im just guessing... I really have no idea!!! As for wckd wondering what TS song you like...Could it be a duet? Taylor Swift did a duet with Boys Like Girls...

Having kept you in suspense, I will now confirm that the story about the smarties is true, which I'm sure is going to send Starr_girl into hysterical fits, because I almost did literally start jumping and bouncing around the house. Artificial food colouring in the 1980s was really nasty stuff.

I agree with WckdnWild about DaemonOfSin's latest post.

So, a couple more from me:

1. I really enjoy the challenge of skiing down red or black runs.

2. I hold my secondary school's unofficial record for the most number of times lapped on the 1500 metres.

Laughs hysterically, still envisioning Starr-Girl's saturday night live throwback..and now that Susurration has admitted to it.... makes it even more visual.....

In response to his latest round of truths.... i have to ponder... stateside we call the red rectangles blue squares... At first i would have thought red runs meaning, he bloodied himself trying to navigate the moguls and other obstacles that usually accompany a double black diamond run....but then remembered the european equivalents..... so he's a wanna be alpine skier looking kewl on the bunnie slopes ;) . *giggling* double black diamonds, if not appropriately navigated - can go bad quickly!!! touches her right leg in recollection.

Now SG's has burned into my head the SNL skit because Susurration's smarties story... i see him like Stewart in his short shorts...and sweat bands trying to run in place while everyon else is moving.....

LOL ... i can't make up my mind.... laughing too hard

That was my intention. The more you laugh, the harder it is for you to guess correctly. My plan for fooling you all in this thread is succeeding ;):D.

I feel like I need to bring Blofeld's cat along typing those words :D.

1. I'm the one that mooned MacDaddy23 ;)
2. I've been arrested several times!

I'll say 1 is False and 2 is true. You seem like a woman who had a wild spirit in your younger years.;):D I'm sure alcohol played a big part.

I agree with Lance

1) is false \

2) true, arrested for being toooooo sexy!

*raises an eyebrow* why is it so unbelieveable that I would be mooning MD23? I'll have you know that 40's are the new 30's!! :D

But you are both right... #1 is BS #2 is True... although never convicted of a crime i have been arrested 3 times in my life... all for circumstances beyond my control. I have a fierce loyalty to my sister and girlfriends. We manage to get into and OUT OF a lot of trouble... and no Lance, I'm sure to your chagrin... alcohol had nothing to do with it.... well... not much <weg>

#1 I once performed with the Joffrey Ballet in the Nutcracker

#2 I broke a man's hand

I know you studied ballet and I know you are strong.

I'll say you did the ballet when you were in SF

Although I think you could break a man's hand if her got too fresh

Our Valedictorian was a Russian exchange student who could barely speak english. I'm still not sure how she had the highest GPA...

Our Class Vice President was a little creepy bastard that I was never friends with... and I hope that he was treated appropriate in prison... over and over and over again...

#1 I once performed with the Joffrey Ballet in the Nutcracker

#2 I broke a man's hand

I smell red herring all over #1. I'll go #1 is BS... and #2 involves some wacky story where a dude breaks his hand... who knows... maybe you bucked Lance Cliffrock off of his mount and he broke his hand during the fall

I helped track down a murderer who had fled out of state and the police couldn't find him.

I helped police pull over a drunk driving, calling the info in and following the car until the police showed up.

1. I've seen a break in at 1 in the Morning
2. I finally was able to get a Rolex
