Catalina sat there trying to calm Kya with surprisingly Tony's help. Mainly.to keep the feline from jumping too soon.Hulk was already on a halo decent ahead of them with Rhodey flying down too for protection. Once they were low enough to jump she pointed out an area and she and Kya jumped before anyone could stop them.

Tony hauled out next trying to keep up. Steve grumbled and nodded to the others.

"Sometimes I wonder about these kids and their tantrums."

Clint drawled the remark before following Steve out of the transport, once on the ground, he extended his bow and held it at the ready.

"What's the plan?"

 

[Asa]

Keep Hydra from grabbing Islanders and make sure Catalina and Kya survive that jump.

Fury grumbled as Nat shrugged.

You heard them let's go

"Command of elements, I am quite sure they will set down soft and easy and we will find them ready to rumble."

Clint jumped out along with Nat

 

[Asa]

Catalina and Kya had landed near the village. Silent drop onto land for Kya and water for Catalina. Moving from the water she s.oothed her hair back from.her face as she paused listening trying to get bearings as to where villagers and hunters were as well as those arriving with her. Kya began stalking toward the village staying in shadows as Catalina waited for the others to land as well hopefully close to the village as well.

Find them... we will not leave this island without the good Dr and his offspring this time. Make certain we grab a few of the more combative natives as well. We need stronger subjects for the tests.

The dark haired man in soldier type uniform barked standing near the old man in a German uniform. Baron Von Strucker detested this modern age in many ways but he would find those suitable to finally end Fury and his ilk and perhaps find a way to gain a hopefully more sane heir in the form of a grandchild from his kids. But one thing st a time. The good Dr and his family.

On landing Clint moved out, he saw the irony of having taken a shower just an hour ago and trekking through the jungle once more, but when innocent lives were at stake, he did not sweat the small things. He came across a perimeter guard and silenced him with a rubber tip arrow. Most of Hydra's operatives were mind-washed people and did not actually deserve to receive the sharp-pointed arrows. He retrieved the arrow and moved further, trying to be as stealthy as possible, not wanting to announce his arrival just yet.

 

[Asa]

Nat followed with a little less concern for the Hydra agents. Through the comm Fury spoke up.

Anyone with eyes Catalina or Kya? We have no way of tracking them from here?

Tony replied she hit water and the the cat hit the trees then gone. Clearly she has better k owledge of the area let her do what she knows how to do Nick. She is a big girl and that cat won't let anything happen to her now shut up.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"They are at the edge of the village, not detected by the guards yet. I have eyes on."

Clint responded after Tony's response, he wondered where Tony was as the Iron Man suit should have some sort of way of scanning even through the interference. He was perched in a high tree in an overwatch position

"Village is crawling with Hydra troops in power armor, regular shock troops, and an old friend Cap seems to be controlling the operation."

"Van Strucker is there? In-person?" Captain America asked

"Unless it is a double or very convincing holo-projection, that is a positive."

 

[Asa]

A mumbled oh shit from from Nat as Fury growled

On my way!

First Fury now...

Kyas roar interrupted Rhodey as apparently she and Catalina saw them grab someone that sent them over the edge. The ground around many of the power suits began to envelope the weight standing on them. The village fires lashing out like whips at any soldiers. Kya was latched onto a soldier who had been holding an elderly man by the throat. The soldier by Von Strucker became more bodyguard like in a flash as he scanned for Catalina. Once the elderly man was free Kya seemed to begin herding villagers into shadows where she too seemed to disappear for a moment from sight.

"And that children, is why you don't let untrained professionals go on hunting trips."

Clint fired three arrows in rapid succession, one tipped with a smoke capsule, one equipped with a taser, and the third trailing a thin, high-yield cable. The smoke billowed up and out, covering most of the area, the taser-tipped arrow struck the bodyguard and delivered its charge, while Clint used the cable to slide down into the village after securing the second end to the tree.

 

[Asa]

Tony answered

Agreed at least ones who's only form.of communication is roaring. Catalina clearly is helping villagers vanish without being seen. Half the soldiers are looking for her and bumbling around clueless right now and the other half are trying.to difg their buddies out of the mud.

Smoke screen in place Nat took advantage and started taking out more of the guards as well so they could not free the powersuits. Cap sided with Clint.

We should have left both of them behind to keep Fury busy reminiscing while we had work to do.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"She's done her part, but should have waited for us to get into position. No need to cry over spilt milk, we are here and have to do our best."

He shot a few guards, disabling them with crippling shots to the legs

 

[Asa]

I told Fury she was a threat.

Cap continued till Nat popped in before fury could.

Shut up and do your jobs children. Who would the natives follow to safety her...or us? We need to also remember they think they can protect her family line from Hydra by killing them remember. So RHODEY could you try to get eyes on her while the children and I take out the enemy not the current ally.

Clint just grinned, collapsing his bow and using the compact staff along with a tonfa to fight the Hydra soldiers in close quarters as the smoke still covered most of the area. He moved through the thickest of the smoke and towards the center where he had last seen Baron von Strucker, wondering if the taser he had struck the bodyguard with, had any effect on the man.

 

[Asa]

Shock troops now surrounded Von Strucker as his bodyguard was struggling at the moment. Clearly augmented like Cap perhaps a little more advanced but still having definite issues.

Rhodey spoke up.

I have eyes on her and she has a powersuit in the ground that apparently didn't get hit in her initial.assault. Kya seems to be under the impression that she can rip it apart.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"Definitely got the same dreams of grandeur as certain people I know. Doesn't seem to realize when something is bigger than them."

Clint engaged a shock trooper who attacked him, the smoke was beginning to clear, and the surprise element starting to wane as the Hydra troops started to regroup.

 

[Asa]

It's keeping occupied and not underfoot and risking all of us.

Cap stated.

Incoming... That was all Maria said a couple of moments later Hulk landed somewhere north of the village and roared as a couple of power suits and soldiers went flying into the center of the village followed by the big man. Von Strucker called out realizing who was attacking them.

You try to poach my hunting grounds Fury... Just give us the girl and the Islanders are yours... For now... After this load of course.


The same old man who Kya and Catalona first rescued stepped from the shadows... Growing as he did till he was just a little smaller than hulk.

You will not take one of ours... Ever! She has told us we have allies against you demon. We have the strength to fight we have their aid to WIN!

With that two more dual souls and several others of various powers charged out. A small child? leaped onto Clint's back hardly weighing a thing.

Lina said help you make things go boom. She said you can keep me safe sine I am... Auburn. Srubborn...

She wrinkled her face but sent an almost plasma attack from her little hands at a soldier closing on them.

 

[TertiusHuman]

Clint watched in amazement at the streaks of light the little girl directed at the soldiers, his bow held at his side as the little girl hampered his reach for his arrows.

"Stubborn?"

She nodded and fired another bolt at a soldier in power armor, then another and another, until the armor shorted out and the soldier keeled over.

"Is that your name or a description?"

She grinned at him

 

[Asa]

Hawkeye who are you talking to?

Maria's voice broke through though a little hollow as if in a barrel from the child powers.

Name Daya... But everyone say subborn.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"Seems like one of the locals took a liking to me. She using me as a platform to move around."

He grinned

"She's called Stubborn, but her name is Daya. Cute little kid."

 

[Asa]

Serious plasma firepower from your left shoulder there Barton.

Tony piped up.

Almost jealous... of the kid.

Tony's ribbing was interrupted by the sounds of Hydra soldier yelling.

We have them fall back!!!

 

[TertiusHuman]

Them?

Clint focused his attention on the dropship coming down and saw what they meant.

"Shit."

"What?"

"They have managed to get hold of Catalina, I can't see Kya."

Catalina had to have taken a strike to the head, there was a bruise on her forehead and she hung limply between two soldiers as they ran for the transport. He slid Daya from his back, grabbed an arrow, and fired, hitting one of the power suits in the back of the knee, hobbling the soldier. But they employed jet packs and flew out of reach of his bow.

He grabbed another arrow and fired, the arrow flying high and would seem to be able to hit the two soldiers as they entered the transport, but it hit and clanged against the hull of the ship moments before it sped off.

 

[Asa]

Tony was following the suit s and was ready ro follow the ship as Maria called out to get to the pick up site and other jets were being sent to pursue. As well as now the involvement of the super agents Fury own Mutant team.

The little girl tried to shoot too.

Kya gonna be mad. She made Kya take the others to the caves

 

[TertiusHuman]

The interceptors watched in frustration as the ships they were scrambled to pursue, disappeared from the radar and from any visual confirmation.

"We lost them," Maria said over the comm link

"You should have let me or Rhodey pursue them, God knows what will happen to her now in the hands of those madmen." Tony pitched in.

"Is there any good news?" Fury growled over the link

"The villagers who are not fighting or chasing Hydra soldiers around are secured in some sort of cave system," Clint responded, leaning down to pick Daya up to sit on his hip.

"Maria, see if you can do a scan on frequency 516."

Maria sounded a bit caught off guard, "Why?"

Nat said softly, "That last arrow you fired . . . "

"It had a tracker in the head, it struck the plane solidly enough to implant the tracker. That frequency is on which the tracker operates."

"Understood, give us a moment," Maria responded.

"Got them, out of reach for interception, but we can now follow them with the satellite system."

 

[Asa]

Fury... let me talk to him.

Was all Cap said.

Agreed.

Was the only growl that answered.

Tony sighed shaking his head.

Well boys and girls let's go find the others. Stubborn would you be so kind as to lead the way?

Rhodey mumbled.

And pray that cat don't kill us
