[Asa]

Kya wanted to end the soldiers in there as well but they clearly did not hold useful info since the human let them live. She moved with him still angry she could not smell her ward. The next building was close enough and more villagers wandering around here as well as Kya was getting more and more angry even with them.

 

[TertiusHuman]

He moved silently, slipping into a room, surprising the guard inside. A few seconds later the guard was held immobile, Clint's face close to the man's ear.

"Where's the girl they brought in?"

The guard grunted and wheezed out, "Fuck you."

Clint twisted the man's head enough so that he could see the large cat

"You see that panther? Name's Kya. Kya loves that girl and she will bite any part of you to get an answer. Isn't that right Kya?"

 

[Asa]

A snarl fell from the cat as it licked its lips. Stretching to full size and height.

Better killed by that then those power guards.

The guy tried to speak again. Kya held back a roar looking to Clint then her target and moved to put her face in his and snort expecting answers.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"Oh, but what you don't understand is, she will not kill you. She will start eating you from the feet up and I have enough tourniquets for you to not bleed out, but you will feel her chewing on you."

Clint grinned at Kya and she licked the man's face, her tongue rasping over his skin

"If you refuse to tell us where the girl is, you can pick a foot."

Clint produced a field tourniquet from a pouch and held it up for the guard to see.

 

[Asa]

Something got rerouted headed to prime base in Germany here. Base commander was pissed. Kept mumbling something about how it means "he" will be here so they will be here.

Kya sniffed the tourniquet then studied the guard again before looking to Clint.

 

[TertiusHuman]

Clint grinned at Kya

"Seems like you will have to eat another time."

With a swift movement, he knocked out the guard and started to secure him and for good measure gag him as well..

"Well, we are on the right track. We will have to move fast and find Catalina. You ready?"

 

[Asa]

Kya batted at his ear she had figured out that's how they talked to each other having heard voices from his ears before. Radio silence was not something she would understand readily. The others needed to know.

Turning after that she began hunting once more. So many strange scents around them that sometimes it was hard to keep track of a known scent of the islanders.

 

[TertiusHuman]

Clint knew what Kya meant, but he could not give a report, not this deep inside of the base. So he activated a burst tracker, one which sends out a single signal beep on a hidden frequency tracked by SHIELD. They would understand what it meant, the only reason Clint would even try to gain their attention. They had a possible positive fix on Catalina.

He replaced the sender and followed the large cat out of the building and towards the larger building, thinking of a way to get inside.

 

[Asa]

She stalked the shadows till there were none left then stared at the building seeing an upper window open Kya prepared to leap up to it.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"No."

He motioned to a sensor in the window, then lead the way further to a door with a key card slot.

"When you are trained to be an operator, they teach you interesting skills."

He held up the card of the guard they had interrogated and used it to open the door, they slipped inside and he pulled the door close.

"Find a safe place for us to hide, when the team arrives, we will go to 'Lina as we are already inside the building."

 

[Asa]

She studied the area and saw railing high above that looked like little more than storage and snorted. She kept sniffing like she was just out of scent of something she knew. Maybe even Catalina and it annoyed her.

 

[TertiusHuman]

He looked at the position Kya had indicated and nodded, he found the access ladder and started to climb, quite certain that she would have her own way to reach their hiding spot, where they would wait for the big distraction from the rest of the AVENGER team.

 

[Asa]

He has had long enough better get to it before that furball decides humans are too slow.

Tony finished suiting up closing the helmet ant they all launched into attack.

Kya leaped up finding a ace where the boxes were lower stack moving with Clint she nudged him with a gentle headbutt. She was agitated and worried and tired of not attacking.

 

[TertiusHuman]

He rested a hand on her head, gently stroking between and behind her ears.

"Don't worry, soon. It should not take them too long to reach us."

 

[Asa]

The assault on the location was quick and seemed to hit from all directions at once. Avengers, Bridges and his super agents as well as Shield field soldiers. Kya sniffed the air and a low growl tried to escape. She heard the fight and wanted to join the fight but stayed near Clint unwilling to lose anyone else.

 

[TertiusHuman]

Alarms started to blare, people rushed to posts and they watched the tumult from their hiding spot, Clint secured the bow to his back and drew a wicked-looking sword.

"Now, while everybody is in confusion."

He jumped over the railing, using the route that Kya had used to get to the top, to go down. The first guard he came across received a sword stroke across the throat and fell to the ground. Clint was not playing around, inside the Hydra's den, things weren't going to be easy and he wasn't going to take chances that could slow them down.

 

[Asa]

Kya leaped into the fray a roar lost in the sounds of alarms and weapons fire. Finally she was able to fight. Taking out anything or one that seemed.to be aiming at Clint.

Then she saw him... the strange human who stood by the old yelling human on the island. The ones that took her ward. The bodyguard barreling out of a room weapons in hand strapping back on body armor and Kya took off dead set on killing.

Something stopped her in her tracks as a roar ripped out of her again. The strange manheld the scent of Catalina.

 

[TertiusHuman]

He followed in the wake of the big cat as she charged deeper into the building, he saw Baron von Strucker and then the bodyguard. What he found strange was that Kya stopped in her attack on the man, roaring. He sprinted past her and met the bodyguard head-on. He was clearly a super soldier like Cap, but unlike Cap, he had more training. Clint was in for a tough fight.

 

[Asa]

Kya charged the door full tilt slamming I to it but the door did not give. Another roar and slamming into the door again before turning back to the strange human fighting Clint and joining in the fight. She knew where her ward was and this human could make the door open

 

[TertiusHuman]

Clint swore softly when the bodyguard landed a glancing blow, von Strucker have already retreated and he was quite sure, on the run. Radio silence was no longer needed.

"Guys, watch for Strucker, he was here."

He took another blow, this time intentionally and scored a sword strike, the bodyguard cursed and jumped back. That was the moment Kya entered the fight and jumped on him from behind, driving him to the ground. Lightning quick he twisted, but Kya was faster, moving just out of his reach and giving Clint the opening he needed.

The bodyguard lay unconscious at their feet, the thrown club laying next to his head. Clint grinned, "Should have worn that helmet."

He glanced at the door, stowed his weapons and grabbed hold of the man, dragging him towards the door.

 

[Asa]

Kya snorted and went backnto attacking the door till she saw Clint dragging him and tilted her head. She then just looked at the door and roared as if trying to talk to Catalina but there was no reply. That did not sit well with the massive cat as she clawed at the door again.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"Just hold your horses Kya, sheesh. You could have dragged this hunk of meat over here much faster. Got to get your head into the game."

With a grunt, he heaved the bodyguard up against the door, using the fingerprint and retinal scanner on the unconscious man, the door clicked and slid open. Clint allowed the bodyguard to fall into the doorway and held the sword ready.

 

[Asa]

All Kya needed to see was Catalina laying on a low cot motionless and the scent of blood. Any near human like part of her was gone as she moved to stand close to her ward. Guarding her seeing nothing but potential targets around them. Nudging Catalina occasionally she snarled almost even at Clint. She was in true protector mode now. Following long ago given orders from Westlyn himself... protect Lina.

 

[TertiusHuman]

Clint moved into the room, his eyes picking out items and calculating spaces. He drew throwing blades and disabled the cameras he could see. He gave Kya a look, he was sure that if she attacked him, he would be able to handle her, but they will both get hurt badly.

"Listen Kya, if you want help Lina, you need to calm down. It won't help to attack everybody, we will have to get her stabilized and to safety and that means that other people will have to handle her as well."

 

[Asa]

Nats voice behind him grabbed Kya's attention as well.

Good thing I said I would offer you backup to get her out of here. Kya...

Nat slowly slipped I to the room.

How about I see if she is okay and your other ward Clint keep an eye on the door... with your help?

Kya growled a low warning. Nat thought a second.

Okay...

How about if we make sure she is okay and able to be moved and you watch the door for...

The body guards body shifted and slowly began to move more but his scent on Lina had made him prime target as she leapt between them attacking the man.

Shit... look after Catalina I will make sure she doesn't kill our best prisoner idea.

With that she tried to stop Kya from attacking him so she could contain him for pickup by the others radioing Tony after he managed to escape after she had him cuffed and Kya redirected to watch over Lina and Clint.
