"Oh I wouldn't worry about Kya Rhodey, I am pretty sure that she can remember who has nice fresh steak and hamburger meat for her to chow on."

He looked down at Daya

"And she knows that you are not as tasty in that iron suit of yours. So what do you Daya Subborn? You going to lead the way?"

 

[Asa]

The little girl nods as a couple of the other dual souls now move around Hulk curious. Turning she walks behind one of the huts and points to some rocks and very large snakes.

Kya... your friends need see everyone... Catalina went to a big funny looking thing near the clouds.

With that news the massive cat is through the barrier with a snarl followed by several villagers. Some arguing that they should have killed her too long ago but the others were not having it.

"Sure is a bloodthirsty bunch, always wanting to kill everybody."

Clint collapsed his bow and slid the billy club into its sheath as he looked at the strange mix of villagers. He eyed Kya as she paced around, clearly agitated

"Listen Kya, I know you understand us when we speak. Calm down. We will be able to get to Catalina. Just relax and stop snarling and trying to bite everything."

 

[Asa]

Kya looked to him and snorted but padded over by him.

One of the villagers spoke up.

There was never any reason to kill her. She aided us like the old one he became too old to escape them nor out run them.

 

[TertiusHuman]

He looked down at Kya as she sat down next to him, not quite what he had in mind, but then again . . . he reached out and stroked Kya's head, scratching gently behind her ears. A soft rumble started up in the big cat's chest and most of the onlooking villagers looked confused and even stunned.

"And yet, now you are arguing amongst yourselves that you should have killed her long ago, even if she did help you."

He looked at the old man still in his hulked form, "Since he is your elder and clear leader, what are his thoughts on all of this? Won't it be best to drop the psychic shield and allow us to help you against this Hydra infestation?"

 

[Asa]

He looked to Clint thinking.

They are from your world theyust be ended in your world. They have what they mainly wanted. Someone from your world who evaded them before. We will continue our fight here you now know who you need to fight out there. Do not let them harm her.

Clint patted Kya's head

"They will not harm her yet, but if we move fast, we will be able to stop her getting harmed."

He took a pendant on a leather thong from a pocket and hung it around Daya's neck, he didn't say anything, just secured the bow to his back next to his quiver.

"Fury, are we going to get this show on the road?"

 

[Asa]

Days looked to him then the others confused but wandered off to study it. Kya snorted but moved over to Tony knowing getting back up was harder than getting down here.

I think it likes me

Tony joked.

Extraction would be nice Fury...

Then get here look up smart ass.

Miles away Von Strucker studied the young woman in the containment before him. His bodyguard by him.

My son... he would... mess this up. You are like a son to me perhaps it will be you to assist in giving me an heir that is not ... insane as my children are.

That's who you want the mother to be then gladly was all the bodyguard said with a sick grin on his face.

It did not take long for them to get on the Quin jet, Banner back to his human form. The trip back was in relative silence, for once even the wisecracking Clint didn't have much to say. He instead looked at the large panther as she lay curled up near him. It seemed like she had adopted him as a temporary surrogate, or maybe a partner since Catalina had been taken away.

"Clint?"

He glanced at Nat, "Yeah?"

"That pendant you gave Daya."

He shook his head, "God, Nat. Your eyes are everywhere."

She smirked slightly, "You know me, Clint."

He nodded, "Yes, it belonged to Lila."

Silence followed his confession.

 

[Asa]

Tony had talked the villagers into leaving some hidden devices around the village for now and eventuallyore around the island in time to help protect from Hydra.
Once they were back on the Helicarrier a very pissed off looking agent nodded to cap who walked off with them. Banner looked to Fury.

Do you really think he will tell him.anything helpful?

Fury just grumbled.

Be ready to go after them... now!

Cap stood before Bucky.

We need to talk. Do you remember Dr Westlyn?

That got his attention so Cap continued.

He has a granddaughter. Hydra just took her. Where would they take her Buck? What plans could they possibly have for her?

He just stared back.

I don't have time.for your silent game Buck.

He held up a picture of her for his oldest friend to see. Appeal to the ladies man he knew had to still be deep down.

Help us... help me help her please Buck.

Kya stalked around but never far from Clint snarling at any fear of her she sensed.

Clint took a seat, he had already replenished his arrows and absent-mindedly scratched Kya behind her ears

"If I was some demented second World War war criminal, where would I take a powerful mutant woman?"

Kya let out a low grumble

"Exactly, to my base of operations. So stop asking Bucky silly questions and start thinking why Strucker would want Catalina so badly. Her mutation can be duplicated, but at the moment it is untamed and clones just don't have the same power."

Kya turned her head to look up at Clint

"Yes, that is a scary thought."

 

[Asa]

All depends on what her powers or continued existence is good for to them. Some mutants were literally just sparring fodder. Some were tested on to see if they could add their strengths to the serums or if they could handle it. You better hope they only think she has a mind like his. Strucker wants a sane heir I know that. One of the labs... maybe... Germany... Seattle...

Bucky looked to all of them.

The Doc was a good guy... find her. They have done way too much to way too many people. Wish I knew exact locations... sorry Steve.

Steve just nodded and motioned for them to exit not realizing Fury had marched everyone in there with him.

Let's go... track the drop ships and let's go.

"I bet you dollars to donuts that the ship I tagged would take her directly to where we will find her."

Clint mumbled to himself as he left the room with the rest of the group, he glanced around and slipped away to the mess hall, unaware of a black feline following in his wake

 

[Asa]

Then let's go. Cap looked at him.

Now Clint. Kya get him to the ship.

Kya snorted at Cap then headbutt Clint and looked back at Cap then to Clint again.

I think she thinks she is your boss now Clint.

Nat tried to say without chuckling. Banner watched Kya for a moment.

She is... in her mind she could have transfered her protector mind set from Catalina to Clint.

Clint paused and turned back with a sigh

"You slave drivers won't even give me time for something to eat and now I have another woman bossing me around."

Kya growled softly at him

"Oh, you know that I am right."

He grinned at her

"Just remember one thing, I don't have Catalina's powers, you will be strapped to me when we jump, just remember to relax your body and not jowl too loudly."

Kya gave him a flat glare and he grinned, then patted her head

"Don't worry, I will take good care of you and we will find Catalina."

 

[Asa]

Tony helped get the massive cat strapped up with Clint.

You two are primary for our team on this. You seem to be getting that alot lately. We have another team the super agents going to one location we have the other. We will find her.

Another jet took off and seemed.to vanish quick as it cleared the edge of the carrier.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"Don't worry Tony, I won't steal your thunder, that's Thor's job."

He gave Tony a slight grin and settled in for the flight, trying to keep Kya comfortable. The jump light appeared and they got ready, Clint was all business now, it was time for serious work as silent infiltration was no joking matter. They jumped and Clint opened the parachute at the lowest possible altitude, ending the landing with a slight jog as he could not roll, and then released Kya from her harness, before slipping out of his and slipping the bow from his back.

"The base is two kilometers that way, go softly and watch out for surveillance and guards."

Kya blinked and turned to head off, he followed her.

 

[Asa]

She was trying to catch any scent she knew and was getting frustrated. Silence was becoming difficult for Kya who would normally roar and get an answer from Catalina that way. Once they neared a structure she stopped snarling low.

 

[TertiusHuman]

"Easy Kya."

Clint whispered as he knelt behind cover, scanning the area to check for cameras and sensors.

"Just think that they are prey and you have to sneak up or they will hear or see you."

He started off, avoiding the areas the cameras would see and the sensor that he could see would cover.

 

[Asa]

Kya followed him till she saw an islander walking around. Their scent was different but still smelled of home she did not notice their eyes were almost blind from being controlled. She looked to Clint wanting to run over to them so they could help lead them.to Catalina.

He stayed in the shadows, a light, restraining hand on Kya's neck

"Something is wrong, look at the eyes and those metal studs on their temples."

They watched the people moving around, Hydra soldiers on the outer perimeter. Clint moved in short, steady bursts, making sure to keep out of sight as much as possible and avoiding any cameras.

 

[Asa]

Kya followed growing weary of hiding she understood but also was ready to attack. This was not in her understanding getting them any closer to her ward. Stifling roars and snarls growing harder for her to do. This world was very different... too different. Before if something threatened or harmed her ward she killed it plain and simple.

A snort the next time he stopped shadow running. Buildings everywhere people everywhere and still no Catalina

 

[TertiusHuman]

He rested a hand on her neck, gently stroking the soft fur, motioning to a building less than 200 meters ahead of them.

"If I had to choose a place to secure a prisoner, that one would be it."

He motioned to a smaller building, much nearer, "We're going into that one first, I saw a guard go into that building, that means that we can get answers and you can finally bite somebody."

 

[Asa]

She snarled and began moving that way. Pausing she sniffed the air mouth opening as if wanting to roar. A massive paw slicing through the seeming empty air in front of her only to end up with a villager dropping now fully visible and on the ground Kya now standing on the body daring what's left of it to speak or scream.

 

[TertiusHuman]

Clint looked at the body of the villager and was impressed that Kya had made a silent kill

"Didn't see that coming. I am quite glad you came along."

He dragged the body into a hiding spot and they quickly made their way to the smaller building, finding an open window, Clint slipped inside and Kya followed him. He paused only to listen and then moved on, bow on his back and two escrima sticks in his hands.
