I'm currently writing a semi-autobiographical story about how I met my now dearly departed close friend/ex-girlfriend.
This was "our song".
Bringing back some incredible memories.
I walked her down the aisle when she got married.
I was there for the birth of her two children.
We took family vacations together.
Really miss her some days, but I know she's in a better place with no pain.

Writing's displaced music for me these days... mostly.

I just can't concentrate on the job in hand with my fave rock or classical stuff as a backdrop.

Have resorted to ambient sounds... forests, birds, water, yadda yadda such as...

Only thing is; I get so relaxed... I tend to drift off.
