What Are You Listening to Now 7.0

Ghost - Meliora (album)

I don't want to knock Ghost's new album, but I do miss the thick slathering of occult soundscapes they used to have.

Quidam : Pod Niebem Czas

"Pod Niebem Czas" is Polish - translates to "Time Beneath the Sky" (so I'm told :) )

Lovely stuff - worth a listen!

Mediterranean Sundance by Al Di Meola. Just wanted something fast and pretty.
Great choice! Hubby insisted I listen to Al Di Meola's 'Friday Night In San Francisco', with John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia, sublime stuff, glassy smooth and sweetly long-lasting in my mind. I was never the same again after auditioing that disk.

Richard Anderson's Space Odyssey : The Astral Episode

Fun, upbeat power metal. Better than most, IMO

Rick Wakeman & Roger Daltrey : Lisztomania

I had this back in high school - always LOVED it!

Royal Hunt : Paradox

Excellent prog/power metal

The first review (of over 600) that I ever wrote was this album. Re-reading that review I find still have the same sentiments, but am embarrassed by how poorly the review was written. (I like to think I got better over time :D)

Satellite : A Street Between Sunrise And Sunset

Another Polish act.

I wrote a very favorable review about this album. The band contacted me, and we kept in touch ... then when they played ROSfest, it was like a buddies reunion! Hung with them for the whole weekend.
