If I'm drinking beer I usually look for the ipa with the highest alcohol content lol. You can't tell what they taste like from thr names anyway.

Yeah I like some IPAs but try to stay under 7%. Otherwise too malty. Also some sit on shelves too long and get super oxidized, wet paper or old sock flavor. Also, some of these hops like Citra and Simcoe are being overgrown and leading to some other off flavors. Midsized dudes like Sierra Nevada do a good job but a lot of smaller guys are really struggling with it these days.

See this is why I can't get down with IPA's. To many bitter drafts and half assed flavors. No thankyou. Beer should not be a overthinking drink. Tequila, a good whiskey, bourbon...sure. Beer should just be a sit around and get trashed kind of experience.

The stronger ones actually taste better to me, but I can't identify the specific flavor I like. I don't really know much about beer.

That sounds terrible! I have a friend who would always add a different liquor liqueur to Mikes hard lemonade… thankfully she has passed that stage

It was nasty, I’m not one for super sugary drinks and that was overkill. Wow, that’s sweet enough to begin with, I can’t even imagine with extra liqueur.
