What Book Are You Currently Reading?

‘Less,’ by Andrew Sean Greer

I saw him last weekend at a book fair, he’s whip smart, charming and funny.

I just finished Fairy Tale by Stephen King. Holy shit balls it was awesome. @LupineOne it has a Stranger Things vibe to me. And, I learned how to properly pronounce Cthulhu. Wins all around!
Cthulhu is one scary motherfucker. Calling Elden “this world’s Cthulhu”….yeah that was comparing a mortal with an Old God imo…No comparison at all. Like an ant to God 🤣
That’s the power scale

"Il Capo dei Capi - Vita e Carriera Criminale di Totò Riina"

Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance by
Robert M. Pirsig

It's a book I've had on a list to read for a long time, so why not now

Just picked up A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon. Looking forward to it since I loved her previous book.

Still sloggy through the Domostroi...

"Whenever there are guests to feed—merchants or foreigners, invited guests or those sent by God, rich or poor, priests or monks—the master and mistress of the house should be thoughtful and should give each person the honor due to one of that rank and dignity. Each should be received with love, gratitude, and an affectionate greeting. You should speak to each guest and greet each with a kind word, either offering food and drink with your own hands or sending it via another. Make each guest happy. Remember those sitting in the sleighs and the courtyards outside. Give them, too, food and drink. Do not forget those in the kitchen, either; send food to them as well."

1637 The Transylvanian Decision by Flint and Robert E Waters The 1632 series is endlessly fascinating.
