What Book Are You Currently Reading?

I finished The Naked Civil Servant by Quentin Crisp yesterday.

Today I’ll start On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong.

I searched for The Bachman Books in my library tonight and it's not there... so nothing at the moment.

I just finished The Vanishing by Wendy Webb. I found it while looking for another book by the same name, but found this instead and it looked like a good, spooky read. It did not disappoint!

Currently reading The Housemaid by Frida McFadden.

Enjoyed The Housemaid.

It was a quick read.

Hi all. New hear.

So a strange thing happened to me during the pandemic (sounds like the start of an amusing anecdote right). I lost the ability to pay attention to what I was reading. I'd read a couple of lines, find they'd not soaked in, and have to read them again. I'm mid 40s and had always been a big reader.

Anyway, I gave audiobooks a go. Game changing moment. I love them now and I can listen wherever. Providing the narrator is good.

Im currently working my way through a series of books by a chap called Grieg Beck. The Acardian saga. It's about a soldier who gets shot in the head and goes through a medical trial that turns him into a super soldier. Think U.S. special forces meets science fiction, aliens and horror. I quite like them.
