I did end up reading a book today but not one from my shelves. I’m a sucker for smut (so shocking, right)

I'm such a sucker for smut that when I went to library school, I had to look up the erotica categories in the Library of Congress classification. There is a designation in LCC for erotica written in German before the year 1801. I am NOT kidding! What in the hell would German erotica even sound like??

I love romance novels, usually because they're written so poorly. It's hysterical. I read one that was actually written very well, but the metaphors were so bizarre.

To me, it's about the woman becoming slowly overcome with sexual desire for the target male, and then striking without warning! I have never seen a woman do that in my life!
