Well said Simon. The feel for a wallet instead of a pulse approach to healthcare advocated by many on here sickens me. My faith that the states is a great country is upheld by the millions of Americans who voted for Obama and his policies in free and fair elections. The GOP needs to take a hard look at itself and look at what gets right leaning parties elected and that is taking up a more centrist stance. Leave Merkel's phone alone and look at how she gets herself into office. The party is destined for years in the wilderness unless they can find someone who will ditch 'nut job' politics. Not going to pretend I would vote for them if I was an American citizen but countries prosper by having at least 2 strong parties.
