What do you like?

Of course, the speed of a reformatted hard drive around here lasts about a week...especially after the wife adds her games and stuff back to it.

 Oh no! I don't let anyone else touch my computers. As far as I'm concerned, computers, like underwear, are not meant to be shared.

I still have my old Commodore 64, and it works perfectly. On the other hand, my daughter's laptops usually last about 6 months before the buttons are falling off and the lid/screen won't close correctly.

I like the adorable barista that knows how to make my coffee just right, and never charges me for it. I like that she's fun to have dinner with and never pushes for more.

Isn't great knowing the people that you get things from every day? I know all the folks at the local market i go to, and they know me, and my family

I wish I could! This is the home computer, which has about everything on it...

My college roommate rebuilt a TRS-80, along with 2 5.25 HP floppy drives. On his own. In the 10th grade...

Just a lot of will-power!

Then I'm proud of you!

For a moment there I had the image of a huge platter with an enormous mound of ice cream, bananas, hot fudge, nuts, and whipped cream, topped with a single cherry...

On second thought, it might be ice cream time now...:D

Well, there is a banana... oh, never mind. I better not go there right now! ;)

My older brother had a Trash-80, but this was pre-floppy drive. Instead, it came with a cassette recorder with which you could load small programs... if the volume was set just right. I had a simple text only RPG (like Zork) called Adventureland. It took 20 minutes for 3.5KB the game to load.

Speaking of which... here's the whole game, playable on a web page.

I like...

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favourite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple struddels
Doorbells and sleighbells and schnitzel with noodels
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favourite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snow flakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that turn into springs
These are a few of my favourite things

That sounds rather catchy and only took me a few seconds to make up, I could sell it and then get something else I like....Money :D

That's quite a list. I'd imagine that when the dog bites, when the bee stings
when you're feeling sad, you could simply remember your favorite things
and then you won't feel so bad.

I like when people aren't two-faced, when they don't treat you like crap, when they aren't moody. That's what I like.

I like home made chicken soup when I'm sick.

I like that warmth I can feel within when I do something kind for a stranger.

I like laughing with friends

I like people watching.

I like being slow, deep, kisses.

I like a nice strong male body against my own.

I like old guitars
old dogs
old books
old movies
old buildings
old music
and young women.

I like writing in my journal

I like sunsets and moonrises

I like sand between my toes

I like walking barefoot on cool grass still dewy in the morning

I like kisses that make me tingle

I like shoes

I like Astarte

I like waking up next to someone warm and snuggly (if they're cold it freaks me out)
