You are hiding under a homonymYou are changing the meaning of sex in your conversation. Equivocation.
At the start "sex" means intercourse.
But later you redefine sex to mean everything surrounding attraction and romance.
Here is an example:
Humans need light to live.
Feathers are light.
Therefore humans need feathers to live.
Feels like a rhetorical trick.
Romance = connection, affection, attention, validation
Sex = physical act
They can overlap and do. But they aren't interchangeable.
