My oldest is getting the first dose next week.
This is great news for you both! I've been told to get on to my doc about getting mine. I have a suppressed immune system so am on the list for one
I don't even know how to put into words what's making me smile today. But I shall have jaw ache by the end of the day if I don't stop

I live in a small farming and ranching community . We usually suck hind tit on everything , but I got my first shot 3 weeks ago and I'm scheduled for my second shot a week from today . It's astonishing .

That’s actually still a possibility.
It’s a new school and they opted to open for a younger age group than I am licensed to teach. We decided to keep me on a list for potentially joining the school in year two or three (no obligation). It was the most perfect solution because I don’t necessarily want to leave my current position, and I can see how the first year or two goes for the school as they open. Lots of promise and either outcome is a good one for me. I feel very fortunate.

#1 unsexiest is Saxon.
Sexiest is Standard High German.
Bavarian is a special one, because men think it's fairly sexy and women think it's fairly unsexy. Maybe men associate women in Dirndl with the language much more.

Old school Saxon is absolutely impossible for me to understand.
Added: I've spent a bit of time in Hessen and someone I know there has a really strong accent, to the point that I don't even try to speak German with him. I do find it endlessly funny when he pronounces fertig like fetish, though.

Smiley, but also vexing: I received an unsolicited full-court press to leave my current job (which I love) and go to a new position, doing different stuff, which I’m not as good at, for a big pay boost. I find great satisfaction in my current job, and love my coworkers, boss and mission, but it is nice to be courted, and the cash would be a plus.
