The presentation I was afraid of in the morning went well. I got good feedback for making the topic accessible and giving concrete tips and an extra thank you for the memes I made for illustration. Compliments from a stranger can feel really great sometimes.

I can still remember shoe shopping when I had just had my first kid and asking her if I should buy the hig heeled boots and if she thought he’d like them. Two guys in their mid twenties trying on shoes next to us nodded very emphatically. It did wonders for my confidence at the time.
