My son in law. He gets off work at 8:00 a.m. and is usually home by 9:00. He almost always goes up to my daughter's work and says hi to her on his way home. Today he did not. He came over to check on me and make sure I was doing okay and if I needed anything.

My daughter sent me a screenshot from a conversation that they had where she was playfully teasing him about not coming up to visit her and he said that he wanted to get home and check on me since we still don't have power and make sure that I was doing okay.

I am so grateful for the people that my kids married not only for them but for their families who are also just as supportive.
