Incredibly minor, yes, but also rather irritating.

The cheatin subbie thread.
To actually believe that I had "friends" on the Playgrounds nerd thread! I have been on there for over 2 years, and I feel that the only time people actually want to talk to me is when it's most convient for them. Also; I hate that it acts like a clique and that the most "popular" is this single girl who is a sci-fi/ comic book guru. I feel so useless and stupid next to her. I feel idiotic that the only nerdy thing I know is manga, anime and rpg video games. It makes me angry, sad and depressed to know that I could never be appreciated for things that I know. Also; it makes me quite upset to know that the popular person on that thread also talks to my boyfriend- but prefers to never talk to me because she is "intimidated" and/or "scared" of me. I am the least harmful person ever. I'm weak and as my boyfriend calls me "childish". *sighs* I feel a little better now that I let this all out.

To simplify things, here's a list:

City *wages* aren't all that wonderful (though not too bad in most places), but the *benefits* (insurance, etc.) are usually better than most private sector employment, once you get past the probationary period, etc.LOL well this mail notice came in just when I am pissed off!!!
What pisses me off. I'll tell ya.
I'm out of work, and day after day I see the same places looking for people who will not hire me.
Then I see my former employer looking for people to do the skilled work I use to do for them, day after day and can't get anybody to work for the crummy wages he's offering. Which is way less than what he was paying me, and other places pay two bucks an hour more for. BUT do have good people doing that job.
Right now I'm marking time, job placement agency has a job with the city for me. Hey city wages, now there's a step up.
Of course not! All the world's Grammar Nazis are mounting a boycott of the movie in protest of their trying to ruin our children's educations!Inglourious Basterds?
Am I the only person on EARTH who has a fucking problem with this????

Ummm, no. "Nazi's" would be possessive. I was clearly indicating plural. So, no.Grammar Nazi's*
A little tidbit:
Asians express their emotions in real life mainly via the eyes, Americans and Europeans mainly with their face. The difference in emoticons reflects just this real life habit. This leads to the funny situation that in real life they often see each other in a content or indifferent mood. The Asian focuses on the eyes and sees nothing there and the American looks at the corner of the mouth and doesn't see there anything either.
Eyes are the mirror to the soul...*stares at self in mirror* I express myself with my eyes eh???
Thanks for the interesting tidbit ^-^!!
Eyes are the mirror to the soul...
or the gateway, depending on who you're quoting.
Either way, eyes are *important.*

That's true. I prefer the soul. Sounds more mystical than a "gateway".
I think I need to go for a walk. Yep.
Maybe I need some ice cream too. Soft serve. Anyone want anything while I'm out??
Actually, I meant, "mirror to the soul," or "gateway to the soul," depending on the source. But that's okay. I like mirror better than gateway, too. That's true. I prefer the soul. Sounds more mystical than a "gateway".

split, no chocolate; replace with strawberry or pineapple.Inglourious Basterds?

God no. For one, it is a violation of the English language on a scale not seen since Sasha Grey's last gangbanging, but everything I've seen has lead me to believe that it will be both incredibly offensive and abominably stupid, like some kind of cross between GI Joe and Schindler's List if it were scored to the Benny Hill theme.
