no.. none of our windows open, so we just sat as it got warmer and warmer and had to walk down 6 flights of stairs to get fresh air. It was a very long day where we literally did nothing. We had people making up a mini golf course out of boxes to be productive...But the people in the home office refused to let us go home.

Don't worry, I'm not being morbidly suicidally depressive or anything. Just irked at things. Man, it's amazing how shitty things can go in the space of a month or two.

One moment you're up, the next you're down, you'll be up in again in no time. Especially fitting for me, I suppose. I could throw a dash of 'this too shall pass' for good measure.

Ah well, back to work.

Over a foot of rain has shut down the city water. Walmart sold out of water in the afternoon. I have a case so I'm ok but I'll be stinking soon. And my computer wouldn't start yesterday but fixed itself overnight.

I have a pair of food-grade 55gal barrels full of water for this reason. They were purchased new and cleaned, and I hyper-oxygenate the water to keep it from going stagnant. It works nicely, and wasn't really too expensive to get going.

Aaaaand I need to refill them, as I had reason over the past year to pull a good bit of the water out of one and some out of the other. I just need to find more of the bottled oxy stuff. Wow, it worked well.
