What pissed you off today?

I dislike that guy. He looks like the sort of guy who would have to beg for sex and is likely to be full of shit about, among other things, his experience. Admittedly, I shouldn't be selfish and want to keep her for myself, but I'd like her to have standards that are slightly higher.

Sad not pissy: Taking Grandpa off of oxygen and taking him home to die. Has pneumonia and alzheimer's. Better for him; afraid i will lose my grandma not long after this. That is what hurts the most, I know Grandpa is out of pain or will be soon but Grandma is my favorite person in this world and the thought of losing her is awful.

So far since April, I have lived under the shadow of a potential cancer diagnosis for four (count 'em) FOUR months before getting negative biopsy results (clearly I am happy with the biopsy results, but I aged about 5 years in that four months), I have spent one month watching my father die and now, one week after the funeral, I find my 5-year-old dog (the light of my life) may have cancer and I have to watch her for one month and then take her back to the vets. Oh - and I am newly single (not my choice) since last Wednesday.

For fuck's sake. 2009 has SUCKED for me.

I think she was referring to contact lenses, not contracts...

You got it right.
The right eye I rubbed it because it was itchy and rubbed the contact into a bunch. So my eye watered for like 20 mins until I fixed it....or thought i did. I put it in inside out annnnd well 20 more mins of eye watering after I turned it right side in and in the middle of theatre class.
Ugh

and *hugs* Cat :(

So we rescheduled A.'s visit, he's coming over tomorrow.

What pissed me off is that I've fell on the stairs while ago and fucked up the thumb on my foot. I can't move with it at all and it hurts like hell. Hope its just cracked and the pain reduces till tomorrow, so we could go out when A. is here. :(

I am so pissed off. And so mad. I just sit here and cry. Wish yesterday and today never happened!! sigh

What pisses me the most on it is that I cannot fucking kneel with the sore thumb now!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Wish I broke my hand or something. ffs

I have had a pretty similar time by the sounds of it. It doesn't help in the here and now, but here's hoping 2010 will be better all round. :rose:

The world has officially lost its fucking mind:

"Here's the article: POSTED: Thursday, September 24, 2009 UPDATED: 6:39 pm EDT September 24, 2009 DETROIT -- It was revealed Thursday that thousands of Michigan adults and teenagers may be breaking a state law and not even realize it: Baby-sitting on a regular basis without a license or registration. Watch: State: Baby-Sitting Without License Illegal The issue came to light after the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) ordered a Middleville family to stop caring for a friend's child because the home is not a licensed day care. According to the state, the homeowner was in violation of the law because she allowed her best friend's children to hang out at the home 15 to 20 minutes each day before and after school. "I didn't think I was doing anything wrong," said Lisa Snyder. "I'm helping out my best friend. I'm helping out a neighbor. I'm helping a mom trying to provide for her family." Snyder said she has been hit with a $1,000 fine from the state and could face up to 90 days in jail."

< sigh > I just get so bloody tired of fighting the current some days.

Sign of the times, children are an endangered species. So many screwed up people because of a bad childhood we work even harder to make it better. Think about it, you don't really know the neighbour's teenage daughter, maybe she should have a licence. I knew one fellow very screwed up because his babysitted abused him, often. On the other hand we could see a Domme taking him in hand and making a man out of him, if he hasn't commited suscide yet.

Don't fight it, try to understand it.

Yes, and I'm quite certain Rush or Glenn or some other amoral ass who is laughing all the way to the (off-shore) bank will somehow manage to make it all Obama's fault.

Note: No flaming necessary - I'm an Independent, and have no use for hate-mongers on either side of these debates who with one side of their mouths twist facts and emotions and ruin lives without compunction and with the other side sneer at the very folks who embrace their 'ideology' for their ignorance and gullibility.

The only ideology involved at either end is power and financial gain.

And a license will prevent abuse? By that measure it would make a lot more sense to license parenthood.

Oh God, what have I said???

That its all getting to me so much.

I'm trying, but perhaps I'm just not trying hard enough. What worries me is that perhaps even my trying is just not good enough.

Why can't it be simple. Just this once and I could have what I want so badly.

Plus an end to all the worry and upset and anxiety would be pretty damn good too.

No you made perfect sense, I write Sci-5 remember, yes parenthood should be licences, and financial insentives by companies and government for people who do have children. Dad should have a 4 hour work day, and Mom too, then spend more time with the kids.

Also one other important thing: reversible sterization of all citizens. No more unwanted children. You want to have kids, meet these conditions, and have a new job for the next 25 years.

Okay that's just my opinion.

I wanted to deaden the sound of my bass drum a bit because it was plain overpowering, but now it's been reduced to nearly nothing. I realise it's possible to do it with more finesse than just stuffing a pillow in there, but I don't know how. Also, my top hi-hat bends at the slightest provocation. My friend's letting me have the ride from the drumkit that's been in her shed for the last three or four years, and now I think I'll need to loot the hats as well. I've had the damn thing for less than four months and it's already breaking on me, and have you seen how much a decent set of hats are?

I'd like to see the politician stupid enough to suggest a scheme that royally fucks all those who don't want or can't have children, particularly since it would probably increase the amount of kids brought into the world for reasons that are not love.

And I really couldn't have fucked that up worse if I'd genuinely tried.

Dumbass.

Dumbass.

A license certainly doesn't stop it as anyone reading the British news right now will know

Parents having jobs and being a pillar of the church and all that entails doesn't stop parents abusing their kids ...... take it from one who knows!
