Really? Well let me tell you a bit about me.
I got married when I was 18, my husband was 21. We didnt have kids for 5 years, not because we didnt want them but because I couldnt. 5 years of doctors and therapies, false hopes and disappointments. All that time I was working while my husband was studying.
I finally got pregnant, but I lost my job due to stupid company policy. My husband was few exams away from being done with uni but he couldnt find job at that moment.
I had to spend my pregnancy laying in bed, I wasnt allowed to even sit down if I didnt want to risk loosing my child. Looking for job was out of question for me.
Thankfully, we had our parents full support and we got through the bad times. My daughter is 21 now and is joy and pride of my life.

So, have you ever been sterile but wanted to have child with all your heart?

No Kat, you know me better than that. Besides I take responsibilities for my actions and always used condoms. As for my wife she was kicked by a horse when she was 12, so no kids. Adoption, expensive and lots of interviews.

We made a concious choise. We know lots of people who don't think ahead, and don't take their responsibilities responsibily.

Besides I'm talking Sci-5 will a politician take such an approach, probably not. Would a dictator? Oliver Cromwell would.

Society isn't perfect, we need to work at it.

Day started out wonderfully, then on way home from work, found out my son got in a fight at school today. About an hour later, I get a call from the school saying my son was at the local jail and that is where I needed to pick him up.

I get there and the other kids mom is there. To then find out that this child had another incident with my son two weeks ago, and nobody notified me at that point! I AM PISSED!!!!! My child has a disability and has been bullied and harassed his whole life. His disability aside, what happened was wrong, but charges for assault for finally defending himself. I will be ripping the school a new one in the morning.

Good. If I found out that the school sent my kid to the jail, I'd have ripped them a new one just over that. But to find out he's in jail for defending himself, which is the schools job, ooooooooooh they'd flinch every time they saw me.

this morning on the way to work i read a post on here about someone asking when was the right time to curb nudity in the house, i posted a full and in my opinion decent responce on a subject i was interested in, hours later i went looking for the thread so i could see any responces, i have used searches and looked through my previous posts and it has dissapeared. Im kinda pissed off that threads just dissapear!!

Oh but while waiting for them to release him met other kids mom and she said that her som has another charge pending because of an incident that happened 2 weeks ago, with my son. No one notified either his father or me....WTF. Tomorrow can not come fast enough for me.

A week and a half ago I was out with viv and MIS. I was wearing a short-sleeved shirt and shorts, and was sweating my sock off. I was even grousing at MIS for not bringing sunscreen as she burns easily.

Over this past weekend, the highs were in the high 80's, and the lows were in the low 60's.

Today? The high is a rainy 57F, and I saw a snowflake or three when I was in Richmond.

Crazy.

Its 30F out here tomorrow 50F for a few more days then more snow and ice.

Sandbags *can* save your ass if it's snowy/icy; they are unlikely to *create* any issues other than slightly reduced gas mileage if it's not. Put 'em in.

Gigi, from nearly a dozen years' experience as an educator, let me advise you of one thing that most parents never learn, and which educational administrators *hate* to have parents learn: A calm, collected, organized, *coldly* angry parent is scarier to them (administrators) than a dozen hotheaded parents.

Before you walk into the office, gather all the information you can regarding the other student's record (which they can't confirm because of confidentiality issues, but knowing that *you* know will shake them), your own son's record, the exact issues that your son and the other boy have had, what occurred in each instance, and what actions the administration took without notifying you or his father. Compare those actions with a student handbook or other written school policy concerning this type of issue, and *coldly* hang them (verbally) with any violation on THEIR part of those policies.

Get with your son and convince him that you won't be mad if he tells you the absolute truth about whatever he did, but that you *have* to have accurate information if you're going to do him any good. Don't be afraid to admit to admin any minor violations he committed, if the other child's actions are greater. Doing so only strengthens your (and your son's) case.

If necessary, take anything that will help you remain calm, collected, organized and cold, from St. John's Wort to any prescribed-to-you anti-anxiety or antidepressant you feel will help you do so. Remember, the more logical and cool you can remain, the more nervous and defensive *they* will become. Good luck to you; I'm aiming an antenna your way!
