You beat me to it. I didn't realize our bedroom had suddenly become Grand Central Station. Ah, the joys of having 4 people in a 2-bedroom house. I can't wait until we both graduate and can move, not only out of this house, but out of this town altogether.

I would think the problem would be with the wireless router and not the cable modem.

Boy am I pissed
Well I started a new job a two weeks ago. Being low man on the totem pole I get issued the most beat-up truck on the lot. Guess what the truck had a radiator leak. While under examination the front differental is also broken, that was last week. However the differental has now had peices fall off of it, and now the truck is fully out of commission. I spent the rest of the day as a Swamper, driver's assistant. So now I'm without a truck, what happens next? I have no idea.

Why is that a lot of people put repaying family at the bottom of the priority list?
Granted, I'm guilty myself as I was not prompt in repaying my mom when I knew she could afford it, but I would have never done it if I knew she needed the money. Especially I would have not used them for extras instead of repaying her.
How about having a nice family meeting, preparing excel spreadsheets with all the expenses nicely listed and try to drive home the message that the money they have agreed to pay are NOT extras income for you but NECESSITY to run the house?

Someone told me I was not to buy any more shoes on my trip to the city next week. Someone can bloody well go and stick his head up his own arse. I work fucking hard and I can buy Spanish leather boots if I want to. Consider it an investment

Thank you Rida; I have tried this before but it doesn't help. My brother will get mad and simply say "You don't want to keep my kids and stomp off. They did come through with the money but then we had to give it back in gas money because they ran out of money. I am looking at it very zen at the moment though. What will be will be.

Well I hope you friend isn't like mine, I miss him so much. He was a Peacekeeper, and was machinguned years ago, he still haunts me. Mostly in my dreams, telling me he's looking out for me. Odd isn't it?

Hearing about a series of on-going meetings happening today to decide the fate of not just my job, but the whole damned job title in this company. Why they would look at canning the indy's like me I don't know. Their costs for me are a cell phone bill, laptop and software fees, and whatever piddling administrative costs they pay.
I get no salary or benefits, just my percentage. If I don't work, they don't lose money. Well, they lose pathetically little money. But, no, they're contemplating getting rid of my entire position overall, and handing all the money they would make off of guys like me to a competitor on a jobber contract. It boggles the mind.
I'm so incredibly fucking sick of getting laid off every 2-3 fucking years. Maybe they won't, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
