Be gentle, Elizabeth. Da Pineapple seems to be new to both us and Lit as a whole (see post count); don't scare her/him away quite yet. She/He might not have yet learned how to link stuff into a post, yanno?Link or it doesn't exist.

(Pineapple is a good thing -- sweet and yet tangy -- so let's see if this one lives up to her/his name.)

Thanks, Sir Winston.

Those that subscribe to the 'depersonalisation' of the slave/submissive.
Yeah, it's a hot game, for a time.. but as a permanent thing? I just don't get it.
Why would you want to do that? Take such an important aspect of someone and treat it like it's nothing?
Depersonalisation? Explain.
That also go for those who have the girl refer to herself as "this girl"? Can't stand that myself.
that guy said:me said:somebody else said:Could the fact that the masochist gets off it not be disregarded, however, if it's causing a conflict? By this I mean, the sadist will hurt the masochist because the sadist wants to: the fact that he masochist enjoys it is coincidental.
Bingo. Yahtzee. Touchdown, even.
It's not that I don't care what the masochist is getting out of being hurt, it's that it's secondary to what I'm getting out of it - i.e. pleasure. If she's deriving pleasure out of being hurt then fantastic, we're both enjoying ourselves, but even if she isn't, I'm not bothered
Then you aren't a sadist - because you aren't being the least bit cruel. You might not even be a Dom - because you are doing what she wants - if she's enjoying it. And, if she isn't enjoying it then you are either punishing her according to the definition we discussed before and in a consensual setting - or you are abusing her, by not being bothered.
