Do you hear "Boys and Girls" by Blur playing in the background when you read Etoile's posts?

Whoa! Thank you! I don't actually know the song, but I looked up the lyrics and they seem cool.

I usually have the TV on when I'm in front of Lit (since I don't get on Lit from work!) so I don't generally hear anything when I'm reading here.

This is really interesting. I was trying to "hear" all these things as I read, but unfortunately I had WinAmp going in the background which tends to confuse my ear.

I don't think I'm very synesthetic other than having associations between numbers and colors and shapes. If I hear anything when reading posts it's usually a sense of voice coming through, but certainly it influences what I imagine people to look like --- those whose pictures I've never seen.

Once I've seen someone's actual picture they become far more static in my imagination --- I'm less inclined to read things onto them.

What a tough question. At the moment all I can think of is how the 'N' in Netzach made me think of the shape of her hair/head--- an A-symmetrical bob medium dark to very dark in color.

Funnily enough when I finally saw a pic of her I found I'd made a pretty accurate association. The only thing that truly surprised me was the delicacy of her mouth. She looks more like Maria de Mediros than I would've imagined.
