What song was #1?

Ya'll are a bunch of children! LOL Mine isn't on YouTube at all, it's Alley-Oop. :D

Night Fever by The Bee Gees for my birthday

I'll be missing you, puff daddy for my wedding.

Oddly enough the puff daddy song is also the one played about a year later for my nephews funeral.

Things that make you go hm.

My parents were fucking to jailhouse rock. Probably not, they were old when they had me.

Don't be Cruel was the #1 song AND I was born during a hurricane!

Am I a fun date or what?!lol

Haha, well, I was born on the day they first tried to blow up the World Trade Center. Cheery, eh?

Old????

If you only knew. Mine is "Thanks for Everything" by Artie Shaw- and somebody asked "who is J Giles?".

Mine is not on You-tube. There is a listing on iTunes [preview free-download $.99 ---Sorry]. Artie Shaw This was a time when Hitler was putting the finishing touches on his wet dream {and most people's nightmare} for the world.

From YouTube: an item from that era performed by Ute Lemper. Youkali-tango

Now no one should feel old.:D

"I'm Sorry" by Brenda Lee Dam it couldn't be someone cool like Elvis or Chuck.

Okay, this is just depressing. Mine is "Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett and the Cryptkickers.

So I'm old, and my song is a Halloween comedy.

How depressing, mine was

'Ode to Billie Joe- Bobby Gentry.

I have always hated that song, for all kinds of reasons

So I'm just a bit AR...

On my birthdate, "Mule Train" by Frankie Laine was the number one song.

The day I graduated from high school, "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge (the original version).

Wedding day #1, "The Morning After," by Maureen McGovern. I have absolutely no memory of this song.

Wedding day #2, "Like a Virgin,", Madonna. I wish I had no memory of this song.

Wedding day #3, "Family Affair," Mary J. Blige.

Honestly, the only one of them I like at all was the #1 when I graduated from high school.

Well no WONDER I love this song... #1 on my birthday was "Crimson & Clover" by Tommy James & the Shondells

The day I was born this song was #1.

I suddenly feel really young.

Perhaps because you are?

All I'll say is that Patti Page had the top song ("Tennessee Waltz) when I was born. Though I never actually met Ben Franklin, sometimes it feels that it could have been possible.

ETA: Somehow I got the artist wrong first time around. I'm much happier with the songs that were popular as I graduated from high school ("Get Back" The Beatles) and from college ("My Love" Paul McCartney and Wings).
