What's your Lit time ?

I'd like to know what everyone's usual 'Lit-time' is, i.e. when do you log on, check your stories, read some, post some, check the threads, lurk ?

I usually check Lit twice a day, when I get up (which could be anything between 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.) and at night before I go to sleep.

Those are the times I check the boards, post some or don't.
Then whenever I'm in the mood I check out stories, which isn't too often recently.
I might also lock on during the day now and then to check the boards.

Of course this static rythm will change as soon as I go to university again and move away. (I hope i'll get internet access over there quite soon and cheap)

So what about you? Do you have certain 'Lit-times'? Or do you just log on whenever in the mood?
Or are you here all the day, in which case you should go now and do something productive.

By the way, cuddling is fine. But to death ? Hmmm, killing puppies wouldn't really impress a jury in court, would it?

usually.. 5a to 8a.. its my quiet time.
i dont have to worry too much about mom ringing the door bell and asking for things or about the kids pestering me..

ofcourse things will change at the end of august.. the semester will begin and ill have to be on earlier if i want to get a glimpse of things happening here. for now, this is my quiet post and read time.

Usually 6:30 am, weekdays only. Sometimes I get a chance on the weekends to hop on and check things out, or when hubby is away Im on here alot more. Not that he doesnt like me on here, I just get bored and need adult time away from the kids!

I check in like now, at work, between 10 AM and 5 PM CET. Eventually I have to do some work too, so it's most sporadic.

Then I usually get an hour or two around midnight after work, dinner and whatever else is pestering me. If it's a dun day at Lit, that hour can drag on until sunrise, since that's when you americanos all start to get active (except vella, who is kind enough to be a morning person)

I have the fortune and disfortune of not having a SO and kids craving my spare time attention all the time, so I'm pretty much free to log on at all odd hours.

I used to be here daily. Either reading and voting/commenting on stories, or just enjoying the board.

These past two weeks have been hard to handle. Ex's and fiance's ready to run have taken their toll.

But, thanks to Tate's thread, The Author Above Me, it has taken my mind off things. I'm learning a lot more about the people on here beside the occasional snide remark. I love reading your stories.

Yeah, I work Sun-Thur from 11pm-about 630ish (and then stay up to put kids on their buses for school)...so I do some Lit stuff most mornings until around10...then pop back through midafternoon...and just before taking a nap around 7...But that's just when I'm not dealing with kids and laundry and housework and dinner...it's a wonder I find time to write anything

I work 4 days a week and try to keep taking work home to a minimum. Usually I come online around 21.00 CET. Done working, cooking and whatever else. I do have to go on hold quite regularly as my son and his friends traipse around the house. My pc is in the living room.

Right now I'm on a lot more, because I have my summer break. That will change in September since I plan to take up another study. In addition to job hunting.

my most common time is late at night local, which is right around the time some of the Brits and continentals are getting up, I'm a night owl, but the wife sleeps earlier,so...

today I am off, thus the current time.

When I get up, 6.45 GMT, until I leave for work, around 8am.

Then when I get home around 6pm. On and off all evening, like now, until I try to get to bed around midnight. Sometimes, if I wake in the night, I might check in and see what's happening.

Depends what's going on at Abs' place, whether I am trying to write, have visitors, have chores to do..like now - packing up the house to move in 2 weeks' time.

Can't access Lit from work, I am a local government officer, and there is an automatic block on 'adult content' or 'pornographic' sites.

But I do have yahoo messenger loaded on my machine at work, so I can keep up with people on that, when the time zones collide. And e-mail. Probably a good thing, or I'd get no work done at all.

Weekends, whenever I can, on and off all day usually.

I usually get on first thing in the morning, to ease my way into the work day. BUT, because I work for myself and I work at home - it is easy to stay on way longer than I intend to! Like today! But I really enjoy it - and I like checking in periodically throughout the day too.

OK... only 5 more minutes.... then off to work!

I'm on sometimes in the mornings, like now, avoiding getting myself ready for work. Mostly I'm on at night, though.

I would never dare to log on from work. I like having a roof over my head.
