I've now sent six links from six different pen names in addition to the one that was already reported and removed. All of them chopping off forwards, making minor edits, and changing the character names as the only difference between the texts.

If this account isn't nuked by the end of the day, I think I'm pulling all my work from there. It's fucking ridiculous that there's this much evidence and that account is still fucking there on some vague notion that "It could be them under a different pen name".

There's fucking seven of them and one has already been reported and removed! Jumpin' Jesus on a pogo stick...

If you're an author there, you might consider posting to the storiesonline author forum as well. I suspect you'll get support that will force a faster response by the webmaster.

I'm slowly contacting the affected authors, because I know the feedback system has something of a governor on it, and will lock you out if you send too many messages in too short of a period of time. Nobody's gotten back to me yet.

I don't know if I should be happy he hasn't done any of my stories or insulted. But of course, most here are probably there. And I'm published on ZBS along with him. So, he'd be doing some pretty stupid theift that way.

Not to mention one of the underage ones I can't find links for looks like it was written by an AI with a learning disability and contrasting that shitshow with work like TxRad's should be enough in and of itself to tell this wasn't written by the same person.

Well if he's also running ZBookStore, which is a pay-to-read site, then it's against his best interest to delete stories in the most popular genre.

However, it's also in his best interests to keep authors happy so that they keep submitting books to ZBookStore and keep readers happy so they'll keep buying them. Hence, my recommendation for a Forum post.

They're purposely stealing from mostly inactive accounts, which is standard MO.

Yeah, I'm seriously reconsidering my opinion of Laz at this point, and even making this right retroactively isn't really going to change that. This is unacceptable from a place I considered a reputable site.
