Who makes the first move?

Ah... Well, I'm not shy and sometimes I'm impulsive. I've been known to mortify people at times. I'll just blurt something out. Hehehe.

Me too Jada. As long as both people land on the bed at the same time, who cares? Though, i do enjoy someone a little forceful.

Dating years, I made the first move and was never impressed by a lass who tried on me. Arrogant or what!

Decades of marriage, loads of times we both just knew we were on the lead in to fucking. But in the years of young children I left it to her to move first mostly. To avoid disappointment. Their teenage years onward, she likes it very much that I signal that I'm horny for her. Some delicious exceptions: a wife coming home desperate for an orgasm is ... nice!

I imagine that would be nice.

At this point in my life, I'm so damaged, that any woman interested will pretty much have to make the first move to let me know that it is ok and I wont get charges pressed, or be humiliated and rejected.

Aw... That's sad. You're such a nice person!

*Hug*

*pat, pats* I'm not trying to be sad. Unfortunately, it's just the truth. I think I might not be the only man to feel that way either.

Or person. I know a lot of people *feel* that way but it's really not true. :rose:

I really don’t do a good job making the first move. My inner voice is loud and she says things that dissuade me from even thinking someone may feel more than friendly towards me. I’m not just talking about physical attraction; this is a erotic site, after all. I mean that special connection. It’s scary to open up.

I’m always happy making the first move. Unfortunately, I’m also quite clumsy about it as often as not. I’ve often been told I’m barking up the wrong tree. Or I keep trying and trying thinking that if I try harder then she will say yes.

Sometimes I realise the above and hang back, waiting for her to make the first move. That doesn’t have much success either...!

First moves are a delicate balance, it seems. If the first message I get from someone is purely sexual, no content, it doesn’t do anything for me. If it is something that I suspect is copied and pasted to 20 other women, it’s not genuine and so I don’t even really consider that a first move.

Sometimes it’s a story or something that they’ve written and that is very nice but I still don’t know them so I am not quite sure what to say in response. “Nice story” seems cold. When I have to spend a lot of time finding the right words for someone I don’t really know, sometimes I just don’t write back. I just don’t know what to say. I’m not a “fuck off” kinda gal, unless it is a consistent problem. I used to try and return every message but that encouraged messages that I didn’t enjoy.

Anyway, Jada I think this is an interesting topic and one I always struggle with.

I always preferred making the first move. I have no patience in waiting for someone else to take action...
Ain't nobody got time for that.
Have I been turned down?
Uhm yes.

Either way, it all depends on the relationship thus far. If you 'jump the chemistry', it feels like it's more about having sex than relating on a personal level with your companion.

I'm very comfortable with either making the first move.

I had to think...we had been friends for a couple of years; however, there was a undeniable connection. I think I started the flirtation, but it wasn’t until we were both out of our past relationships that he made “the move” and really asked me out. The rest from there has just kind of flowed.

I always thought (and not sure why I thought this) that the woman is actually the one who makes the first move. She just lets the man think he is making the first move.

But then a guy friend told me that it doesn't work if the guy doesn't make the first move because he needs to feel like the thrill of the hunt and all.

And then I got to thinking. Ack! What if, the guys are really doing the same to us women? They are actually making the first move but letting us think that we are!

I guess in the overall scheme of things, it doesn't matter. But my inquiring mind wants to know.

What are your thoughts on this?

You know you wanna have sex with me
