First off, if I may...it's not just the girls who become disillusioned. I realize it's the usual consequence, but the continuous dismissal of the male element is one reason why I do it.

Someone disrespects me, considers me less than human, or is just a flat-out asshole...well, cheaper to leave an SB than divorce a wife. Done the latter twice.

There are MULTITUDES of women who do this, and they're successful at it. But here's the thing, they're smart. They're not dumb, not waifs casting about in the darkness, they absolutely know what they're doing.

And they're highly sought after because of this.

The one relationship I found most interesting was one of a Sugar Daddy and Sugar baby who were in a long term relationship for about 10 years. The kicker was that it was a non-sexual relationship. He is a wealthy gentlemen from the south. An "older" (about 65) white man. She's a black female about 35 or so. They enjoy each other and seemed to have a really close friendship. He even mentioned that he will be leaving her "well off" in his will when he dies. He's been her mentor and helped her establish a business etc...I did enjoy watching their relationship and listening to them talk about each other.

Part one: I've always been an indulgent man, so giving has never been a major issue for me. The issue is when the recipient becomes a cash ramora. Both wives were like that, which is a result of me making extraordinarily bad choices, but those choices toughened me up for what the rest of life was going to be like.

But one lady benefited most from my mentoring as opposed to the dollars. She's an up and coming rapper; like seriously making it big now. Hopefully she won't be like Cardi B and start hurling ashtrays at people, but I doubt she would anyway. She's just too smart. She still took the cash, yeah...but only because she needed it. She used it to leapfrog ahead and get to where she is now. I didn't know any of this at the time, but I know it now because she reached out to me to let me know earlier this year. She's sweet and wonderful, and I hope to God her net worth eclipses mine soon.

(A sidebar, yer honor: almost all of my SBs have come back to me to reconnect. Some want to turn on the vampire tap, but some just want to let me know how they are. I like that. Intensely.)

Part two: I personally have not encountered an SB who had a successful "romance" with their SD when cash was not on the table. This does not mean a great deal, as I never socialize with other SDs. Ever.
