Who's beautiful to you?

That's what I dream about - a whole world full of people that are so mixed up racially, that it's only One race - the Human Race.

Me too.........me too.

Hear hear!

Well, me and my hubby have done our bit. Our two are quarter Irish, quarter Japanese and half English. :)

yep - obviously done my part, as well :D
(don't even want to list what nationality/ethnic background my kids have, would take way too much room!

Hubby's part Cherokee, part black, and I'm Scandinavian. I'm gonna encourage our kids to find Asian mates.

You can be your own United Nations!!!

I'm gonna have to say my two neices, I don't see them that much because they live in CO and I'm in NY but when I do see them I just think they're so beautiful :)

I think my little guy. I've never seen anybody like him.

My daughter is such a blend of ethnic backgrounds that she almost looks like a member of a future race or something, and I guess, because of that, a lot of people think they recognize her.

Well, I was thinking that race/ethnic mixing is God's plan for improving the human race, but Svenskaflicka sort of beat me to it.

Gonna be the same for whisp and I .. our kids are going to be a nice mix of ethnicities, some of which are are unknown (since I don't know who my parents are)

Not sure I even know all of my own background, much less my kids.....

Not entirely a bad thing. Makes a good conversation subject, but that's all it really is, after all, right?

Just turned on AV's after a gap of a few days. Gosh there's some nice looking women here...

My wife wouldn't approve of me posting my son's pics here (they're rather sexy looking teenagers). I've been tempted to post a pic of my wife, but that would also be against her wishes. But she's a looker. Forty-six, but looks a lot younger. She has a very pneumatic figure which she shows off occasionally in public. She lcan iterally stop traffic with her looks. She's short and very slim. Her back's very narrow and she has big, shapely breasts -- I always laugh when people here make jokes about 42DD: She's 32F. My kids ave inherited her huge eyes, shiny black curly hair and olive complexion.

Unlike some sexy looking women who appeal more to men than women, my wife gets more complements from women than men. They sometimes just come up and tell her they think she's beautiful. That more than anything convinces me that she's not just sexy, but has genuine beauty.

I won't say it's easy having a beautiful wife. Not good if you tend towards insecurity and jealousy. Which I do. Makes you do silly things sometimes. But it's worth it, because she's funny and kind, and very good and loving to our kids.

Judging by your daughter, you must be pretty nice looking.

Why.....thank you, Joe!

We look almost identical, actually, but the coloring's a little different.....the Native side shows a little more in me, along with some random Welsh accents.......And, again, she's better.

Welsh accents? Tell me more..

Raph, intrigued.

My green eyes, and the tendency for my normally dark hair to start turning blonde in the summer (could have something to do with my love of sunny days). The wayward curls and waves come straight from that too.....my grandmother despaired of taming them.......wasn't a "proper" way for hair to behave. :D ('course, now that its almost at my waist, the sheer weight of it takes care of the curls, although the waves are still there, and not where I'd like them to be, which is why it spends most of it's time in a stereo-typical braid)

Loaded question...

To me a better question is who is not beautiful? and why can't I see thier beauty

There are not many people that I find really ugly. I mean, a person may have wrinkles and scars and liver spots and birthmarks and weird lumps on their face or body that reminds you of something not very nice, but there is still something about them that looks... appealing.

I think there are only two things that I really find ugly, and that's
a) indifference to one's look - not in the sense that you mustn't go shopping for groceries without putting on make up, but in the sense that everyone could wash their face in the morning and perhaps pull a brush through your hair; and
b)emptiness; you know those blank-faced teenage doll-look-alikes, with their empty eyes and grumpy mouths, who try to look bored and grumpy just becase they think that's cool...

I like seeing life and warmth in people's faces. Emotions. Humanity. A little yes-I-DO-give-a-damned.

That's beautiful.

Hey, it takes hours in front of the mirror to get that look just right. :D
