Why do people contact you for private chat?

I havent had too many men reach out to me yet, but a few have and I only joined a day or two ago!

I've had the good fortune to actually have some meaningful conversations over time. I do get the occasional contacts trying to lure me off of here and onto other sites for chat. I don't do that and those go away quickly.
I do enjoy chatting with others who share my interests.

I rarely get PM’s. When I do they all seem to eventually turn into AI bot looking to chat on Telegram or WhatsApp. Then when you do chat there they will want you to send them money to “see more of their content”.

Then nothing. Maybe they feel that all conversations should be traded one message for one message, but when people reach out to me, I expect them to have at least something on their mind beyond "Hi"
