I had an odd dream the other night. In it, I was very horny, and I was begging my husband to slip a finger up my butt. I was definitely into the idea in the dream, where I recognized it as something we'd not done in ages and ages, and that I suddenly wanted BADLY!

When I awoke, I was quite horny, but not for any anal play. Hub and I have been together for many many years, and both decided long ago that anal held no great enjoyment for either of us. Since then, changes with age and childbearing have made that option even less appealing for me.

While I do enjoy seeing women get double penetrated by two guys on porn videos, I am at a loss as to why I would have such a vivid dream.

Wow, asking 'lit'ers to analyze dreams - are you asking for it!!

I'll go for the pure amateur's Freidian version. Just because you dream of sex which is kinkier than you normally partake doesn't mean you literally want that particular type of sex. I think you can find something erotic (as in your dp porn or your dream) without it being something you personally want.

If the result is that it makes you hornier and ready for your husband (which it apparently did), then just enjoy the moment and go for whatever turns you on.

Personally I don't suscribe to attributing the images in our dreams to specific wants and needs.

The most likely answer to why you dreamed what you did is because you were horny and found the images erotically compelling.

You might even try incorporating a little anal play in your love making to see if your attitude to it has changed. Thats often the case with people. Attitudes change.
