The law (both state and federal) says you have to be a citizen or legal resident to receive benefits. If you want to take issue with people lying... well I hate to break this to you; but, some people lie. Your issue isn't really with illegals because some citizens also lie to receive benefits. Your issue is that you wish you lived in a police state where everyone is chipped at birth and a jack-booted thug could stop you on the street and run a scanner over your chip to verify you have government permission to be on that street.

So, you're similarly opposed to background checks for firearm purchases correct?

As far as proving my citizenship, I can show the actual Hospital version of the birth certificate with foot and finger prints on Vintage paper as well as easily apply for and have mailed certified copies of my recorded birth and the state of my birth. I can then show a complete trail of residences from when I was born up to where I decided to disappear not too long ago. Things that no one else attempting to steal my identity could possibly know and all of it verifiable.

Let's assume, for the sake of discussion, that I cannot prove my citizenship but I want to participate in the next amnesty program I can show Law Enforcement contacts going back 30 years showing that I'm clearly in the United States for that length of time.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has five copies of my fingerprints on file each taken ostensibly to verify my lack of criminal record for professional licenses and each time I was assured that such fingerprint cards were used for exclusionary purposes would not be retained and would not be added to the National database. ...but of course they were.

If you have trouble locked in a cell trying to prove your citizenship give me a call I'll take care of it. I'll have your DD-214 pulled, I'll have your fingerprint card pulled and inside of a day will have you verified as a citizen.

The discussion at hand is whether or not we have a strong attractant to those who would come here who are not in a position to contribute at this time. My point is as you readily admit no one checks to see if those receiving benefits are in fact US citizens. It would be racist to do so.

I've been in Arizona since the 1970s. I've seen children of legal and illegal aliens, born here or not be educated in our education system take advantage of your generous opportunities for training and or college and become successful productive actual US citizens. I don't have a problem with that I just don't think it makes a lot of economic sense to just randomly import a bunch of people to breed for us. I'm pretty sure that we have enough human beings here now. And if we are going to import people why are we only going to import people who can walk here why not pick and choose for the best and brightest all over the world like every other sane country does with their immigration policy?

But yes a wall, and well-placed INS agents does slow them down. More importantly allowing border patrol to enforce immigration outside of the 100-mile exclusionary zone would be helpful. You have to get a hundred miles from the border before you pass Go and collect your $200 of genuine US foldin' money. why do you think there are stash houses in Phoenix Arizona is second only to Mexico City in the number of kidnapping cases. Most of those kidnapping plate cases are simply people that are more or less not in a position to leave a safe house yet. Where do you think the money comes from to pay the coyotes?

Methamphetamines are hardly manufactured in this country it is difficult to get sufficient quantities of the precursor chemicals.
