Will posting a second story really get me more votes on my first?

Ultimate, for what ever it's worth, the more your name is out there the more reads, votes and comments you may receive on previous stories. I get comments on my stories most every day. I just checked and I had five new ones today. Some are on stories I wrote years ago. I do have a coupleof hundred stories posted which will make a difference.

I have yet to post a story for this contest. I'm working on a couple. The best of luck to you.

Still trying to get mine to come together in my head. It's not looking good *laugh*

May take the upcoming quiet time I have in store from all the days off before I can get back into writing mode again. By then, there probably won't be time to finish anything, get it edited, and get it submitted.

I do tend to tear through the stories in my third name pretty quickly ( often in a single day ) though. Suppose it's still possible.

I've just checked. I have two stories at 3.00.

Oops! I have 22 stories under 4, including two of my three entries for this contest.

But I do have 171 stories, 10 poems, and two non-contest stories pending.

Then Jeanne D'Artois has 18 stories and 1 poem. 2 of her stories are rated under 4.00. One is a near record 2.39!

I believe there is a site caller Kirsten's, or something like that, where they are much lenient than this one is. You might be able to post it there; I don't know that much about the place.

I didn't think the content, nor the time frame, nor the category mattered. A minor, is a minor. Right? Too bad the author didn't take the comments to heart and change the age of her character.

Similar...I wanted to do a portrayal of a pirate ships willing cabin boy...but yeah that means kinda young LOL

It must have gotten missed, and if anybody reports it, it will probably come down. You're right that nothing matters except the age. Even a character that is described as looking underage ( a vampire bitten at 12 who is actually 300 years old for one example ) is enough to get the story nuked by the censors. Likewise, if you do an underage role-play scene, you have to be careful to reference the reality of the participant's ages throughout.

If you can take a scene out of the story and read it as underage sex, regardless of surrounding context, it will get nuked.
