Down??? a woman said "Down" to me? OMG... my heart started beating (among other body parts) so much I almost had a heart attack.... then I realized ya weren't talkin THAT kinda down..

Oh well... yep... I can get an occasional down comment... but usually they seem quite off the wall.. so I just don't let that bug me at all.

EL... I've spent my whole life working with or for talented people and now having them report to me.... that I've seen too much ego to have one of my own.

I'm as good or better than they are... I just don't feel the need spread my ego around. Either that, or I have the biggest ego on the block and just mask it by attempts at humorous put downs of my own talent.... guess you can pick the answer you like best... lol

Laurel must have made another sweep. One of my contest entries went up almost 40 points overnight!

Well, I called two of them in my most recent prediction!! But the supreme irony is, in a PM to Carson in November, I predicted the actual order of the winners! (remember the PM, Carson?) I guess Ogg can relax now, but I am extremely embarrassed to be among such greats as Abs and Carson! Congratulations to EVERYONE that entered the contest this year! The caliber of the entries was a cut above past contests! Also, thanks to everyone that read, voted, and PC'ed on my winning story!

Last Place Contest

I think I may have missed out at both ends of this contest.

My lowest scoring story is 'Dinner with Friends' rated at 4.38 with 26 votes.

I am sure someone must have a lower score than that, or a lower number of votes than 25 which is a sure way to win the coveted last place award.

My story, which had been hovering at around 4.67 for weeks, got bumped down to 4.47 by some idiot who asked me (twice) why it was posted here. Apparently, if a story doesn't have sex in it, it can't be posted at Lit...despite the NON-Erotic category that Lit has...Canadian moron. I hate him.

And somehow, despite the fact that it had 31 votes, it dropped to 15 the other day, but now is holding at 17, probably because above-mentioned moron voted twice and posted the same "Why don't you have sex in your story?" comment twice.

Oh, carry on. Please. I'm not bitter.

I had 2 contest entries..."The Charm Bracelet" was a 4.71 with 42 votes. Not bad for non-erotic.
